For anybody up early Saturday morning, we have a rematch of last years Open finals going on at 9:45, Quest University vs Vancouver United.

Punjab Hurricanes OUT after a loss and a forfeit on the first day.
Squamish FC OUT after two losses.
Socceroos play a local team tomorrow to decide group winner.

After a dark, miserable Saturday of rain and wind, the grey muted skies of Sunday morn gave way to some glorious sunshine. The consolation for an early start and an early exit from the playoffs was a beer pass(aka no more running)and an opporuninty to soak up some Sun in the beer gardens and enjoy some guilt free pints.

There were some moments of good comedy but all too often there some fugly people with too few clothes and two sheets gone to the wind. Dicken'sCider, who was demonstrating some top notch, pregame warm up techniques,(...showed up with a mini-bar in his kit bag), nominated the following lad for SquamishFest2010 posterboy....

Thankfully I left before that one came out. Unfortunately not before the full moons on the fence.

Good to catch up with Bonefish, Lupoman, Texas Rattler, and lots of other folks. Now time to detox after spending the weekend with DaPotaytoheed and Team YUGottaBLikeThat...
