If good old Keano cared so much about Ireland, why doesn't he play his club football there, then? I guess 50 grand sterling a week might have something to do with it. Fcuking English Premier League...what a terrible thing it is...

Another thing...if Keane was so in the right, why did the rest of the Irish playing staff come out in support of the terrible Mick McCarthy? It'll be interesting to see how the FAI deal with that little problem. Irish football is at a cross roads and I think they
(FAI)are gonna make a wrong turn.

Interesting to see that David Connolly of Wimbledon, who has just returned from injury and scored 4 goals a couple of weekends ago, has turned down the offer to join up with the FAI squad this week after being called in as a late replacement.

He was apparently pissed off at not being in the original squad but had just returned from injury and the squad was decided by Don Givens before the 4 goal performance.

Now would this have happened had it not been for Keano's antics in the summer? I don't think so.

Keane's antics set somewhat of a precedent from a disciplinary standpoint. The FAI need to nip that sort of behaviour in the bud quickly.
