With only 3 preseason games left before the season begins, Nonis and the Nucks brass are going to have to make a few desicions.

Will they carry the full 23 man roster or will they only go with 21 to remain under the cap?

Which of the 2 remaining goalies will back up Cloutier? Auld or Johnson?

Will the Canucks look at signing Jason Doig? After Jovo, Ohlund, Salo, Allen...who is going to stick? I think that McCarthy has done enough to stick, but what about Brookbank? He played defence last season with Bieksa and they played well in the games that I got around to watching. Will Brookbank stay up to remain as the team enforcer?

As for the forwards, it looks as though everything is going to be set other than a couple of spots. I would like to see Ruutu get more time this year. I think that he is a better pest than Cookie, and he is not a coward. Could be our Esa Tikkanen. What will happen with Fedor? He already has a signed contract back in Russia, and is only over here to make the team. Has he shown enough? IMO he has not, and is running out of time.

We will see what happens after the game tonight!

Has to be Auld. Johnson has a two way contract. Nucks are after Doig? why? He won't help them any. I believe the Nucks are worse on paper this year than 03-04. Carter is past his prime, McCarthy gets injured too often and Darby and Park..........please! Cloutier is another ? I don't think he can take his game to the next level.

but as all those Canuck fans say every season "this is the year!" yaaaa.......right!

With the season starting Wed, will it be a good season with the Canucks? Who would you send down/cut? IMO King will go back to Moose, as well as Lee Goren. Fedorov will probably stay up to get another shot, or showcased to get traded.

Are the pick ups that we made going to make a difference? Carter looked good with the sisters on Saturday night. Park always looks quick. McCarthy seems to have found a home as the 5th defenceman, but will probably rotate in and out with Baumgartner and Brookbank depending on whether we need a goon in the line up.

What are everyones thoughts?

Does anyone know what the final roster for the Nucks is? Who were the final cuts? I can't find anything official, but it looks like Goren made it and King and Federov are gone.

Are you Ok Bigbag? You didn't call anyone a twat. Or a cnut. Or anything.

Predictions for tomorrow night? Gretzky gets all his records agains Vancouver. Does that mean his first win as a coach will be against them as well?

New NHL same boring game I watched the game and found it dull, I do like the fact they moved the blue line that made it pretty cool the other games around the league looked way better then two years ago, but the game just isn't the same as it was in the late 80's and early 90's that's why I stopped playing Hockey and started playing soccer, soccer is just so much better in my mind

It was dull because TSN is one fcuked up presenter of hockey here

Good effort from what I could tell last night... Dan the Man looked pretty sharp as did the top 2 lines.

Overall the first to periods of every game were to be fair Sloppy, poor passing and pace. The Third period of most games except the Nucks game were fantastic! Did anyone see the Sens Laughs game?

WOW! The pass Spezza made to Alfie was fantanstico!
Kevin Hector: Give it a few weeks for everyone to get over the sore backs and groins, the timing and chemistry will be back and hockey will be restored to the the "Fastest Game on Earth" Title.

I think we have around 800k for now. I think Bouck may be a little higher paid than Goren, and Bouck is hurt and therefore not part of the payroll at the moment. I believe there are a few different IR's now. A Short term IR and a long term IR
