I'll say it straight up: I'm a pussy. I hate horro movies, hate most amusement rides, hate all haunted houses...I have a hard time even watching war flicks.

Hell, I even tried to go to the website and chickened out as it came up. So, how much does this experience cost? Because I tell you what, this guy is effing BRILLIANT for finding this niche and exploiting it. $5K per tour? $10K?

All it costs is a donation of 4 cans or a bag of dog food to the greyhound shelter that his wife runs. The "tour" can last anywhere from 3-7 hours. This guy could make a fortune if he actually charged a pretty penny, apparently the "guest list" for reservations is 24,000 and counting. No thanks.

You'd think he'd at least raise his donation amount? Make it enough to support more than one dog / day?

I tried finding out how they make a profit but haven't found anything yet. Apparently they have spent up to 500k in upgrades and changes since they opened. The owner says if they start to charge, then they have to abide by certain codes and regulations. Crazy overall, I couldn't even imagine, going there. :bigtears:

I've heard it's actually not that fun.

This guy ran a sub 6 minute mile (5:21) WITH chuggin 4 beers! That's pretty fast even without the drinking!

Apparently Lance Armstrong entered and dropped out...

This reminds me of the 80s legendary North Shore Pegasus Pub Crawl where you started at the Troller in West Van and ended up at the Raven in Deep Cove, and hit every pub in between....and you ran the whole way. Some Spirit of the West guys (I don't now if they were even a band back then, I think they may have been a couple semi-employed Argyle guys) came along once, and this was that song they ended up writing about the Crawl:
