The article says that the cost of the Nortel case has been nearly US$1.52 billion since early 2009, with about $476 million paid to lawyers. Wonder where the other 1billion plus has gone?

I worked for Nortel in 1994 in a job that was doing the nasty for them. I had just finished school and got into their financial planning an analysis team. One of my duties was to set up provisions to for what was to be upcoming expenses and put this on the balance sheet. But, I never released the provisions when they happened. When I asked my boss why I didn't do this, he looked at me with disdain and said, "are you an idiot? Every finance man has a bag of provisions in their back pocket". He then walked away shaking his head. I did the same, but made a plan to leave for what turned out to be greener pastures. I know grow marijuana.
Speaking of wtf, could you imagine witnessing this? I don't know how big the shell is of an anti-aircraft gun, but I am guessing it is like a gatling gun (50 caliber)

Wonder if Harper will appoint him to the Senate.
Funny tidbit about him charging for two expensive bottles of scotch which he kept in his hotel room. No mention if any female members of the Kwantlen Board went to his hotel room for drinks?
