This is frustrating. Our club has been logging complaints about needles and drug use in the change rooms there for years, and the only results we've gotten have been randomly changing the access codes, and then fencing in the sheltered area in front of the field house. We've had to do educational sessions for our coaches and parents to do sweeps prior to games and not to let any of the kids use a bathroom unescorted. Between the drug use and parking hassles, the demand from teams wanting to use the field is diminishing. If I was more cynical (if that's even possible) I could almost be convinced that the city is deliberately letting the park get more rundown and dangerous, so that they'll be able to close it. But of course, I'm not really that cynical...
