Milad is a go to skilled guy. Any side that has him will have a hard time if he gets injured.
But than again if you depend on one guy things will go wrong.
Just look at West Van with out him. Avrage side at the best. One or two young skilled guys make a huge diferance to any side. Pefect example of that is NK. They have four young guys all with skill and it shows on the pitch. Lucca tromendus potential.Sandro the same.Antony H. the same. One or two more UBC or SFU kids and club can take off.

Serbia 3 - Green Devils 1

We scored early on a pk and then got a nice goal as our outside mid beat three players before crossing the ball to your forward for the tap in. Green Devils got one back on a gift from our goalie as he cleared the ball right to him and he scored in the empty net. With about 10 to go we put the game away with a low shot to the corner by our outside mid. Green Devils gave us a scare tonight as they just kept running and even hit the post with the game was 2-1. We have got to play better but we got the three points.

Nobby / Bergs, either of you up for a game report? Don't think I have the stomach.

Nor do I, we lost in the last 5 minutes, ouch.

We scored first as Berga was taken down in the box and was denied a clear scoring opportunity by a bingers defender who was then red carded. Their keeper saves the penal but the rebound is put away. 1-0 Primos. We also go down to 10 as our mid got two yellows and on the ensuing free kick our goalie makes a good save but the rebound was put away right before half time. 1-1

Second half, bingers had the majority of possession but not many scoring opportunities. We had a couple shots from outside the 18 which their keep saved easily. They scored in the last couple minutes which should have been called for offside imo. The ref was consistent and did a pretty good job.

Their #9 had a hand on both goals and their bald defender was solid.

Bingers 2 Metro Ford Primo 1

15 minutes in a crossed ball to the far post found a Metro Ford player and a Bingers defender battling for a ball at the far post. Here the debate begins. Penalty shot? Maybe if you saw it a certain way. Yellow card? Unlikely but you might feel the need. Red card? Embarassing for the referee that he chose to go this way. PK was saved but we failed to mark up on the ensuing rebound, 1-0 Primo.

Just before the half our striker beat the last man and was headed in clean when he was taken down from behind. Should have been a straight red but the ref chose to show yellow and hide behind the claim that he knew it was his second yellow. You don't inspire confidence in the players when you do this. Ensuing free kick led to a rebound that was knocked in, 1-1 at the half.

Second half as mentioned was played 10 on 10 and Bingers controlled most of the possession but were not able to create much in the attacking third and squandered many opportunities. The goal came in the last minute but wasn't even close to offside, lucky bounce off a corner that came to our player who mishit the shot which then bounced right onto the foot of another who finished from 12 yards out amid a scrum of players.

Primo's keeper was solid, good bunch of guys, worked hard. We were very lucky to come away with the 3 points.

We will need to be much better if we expect to run with the Hurricanes and Olympics over the next 2 weeks.

The ref was consistent and did a pretty good job.

The ref struggled, as he often has at this level, and made some interesting decisions.

Nobby, let's be honest though...he was consistently bewildering but in the end all evened out My favorite was when he held up play for 2-3 minutes because he wanted us to retrieve our primary game ball which had gone over the fence...WTF!?

The Army was a good group of guys and played a clean, competitive match.

Rumour had it (before the match) that the Army were notorious for hump and chase football but I saw very little if any of that. No idea why other teams said that because against us it just wasn't there!?

Devo does NK stand a chance against Cliff. I think they do. But if Angelo sends the funny Italion Stalion boy to ref then god help both sides. Yellow yellow yellow yello yellow. Watcher will go mad and he will go on the pitch. Mr Azzi looks at it this way. Five dollars plus five dollars plus five dollars plus five dollars plus five dollars buys lots of pica. Not bad for 90 minutes work. Good profit. Zero tax. Go NK. No yellows go cliff no reds.

Olympics, Punjab and Binger's will fight tough for two spots. It is up to you guys to spoil it. Now is your chance to move up. Step it up. One A is very though side.
