How many of your players ended up showing up for the game? Did you have atleast 7 - 8 ?

berg,

Yikes, that's no good man - only 7 guys out at this time of the year is tragic. Maybe on a year-end "mean nothing game" I would understand. Phew... can't MF help you guys out with a couple bodies???

Ya Dezza Cliff is on a high pace. No lack of confidance there. High tempo kills teams. Who is next on their chopping block?

Well with MF Primo we only have 12 guys signed and one was hurt already the 1st week, we lost two more in that game leaving us with 9 and two people had to miss due to work and that leaves 7..so what we could use some bodies, were not a bad team if we have 11 we had 4 under 18's playing the first week , so Berg has said if you wanna play please message him and show up

If you email two guys from Port Moody. One is Ralf Luango and the other guy I do not know his name. I am sure they can send few U18 gold players to help you out.
That's the only way forward. And at the same tims boys might have a place to play after they get out of U18. Remeber Primo must respect U18 coach and send the kids back. Kids must be told to play with the youth and then come up.

Just heard cliff 7-1 over hurricanes

contrary to what the website says, you heard correct..

it seemed like every shot we took went in. Although it was 4-1 at half it could have easily been all tied up with a little more luck on the part of the canes strikers.

BIG win for Cliff as it was the first time we have ever beat the hurricanes.

It shows you how well Gioani Valente coaches. He is up an comming young coach.
Good job Gio. Also there is and old fox with him with many cones to confuse the hell of the players during the practice. When they go to play a game it is more fun than running between and over the cones.
As I pointed out before Shandu is tough and expects alot of each player. No free rides on that team. It will be hard to nock these guy off of the pace they play.
Maybe Nk Hrvat can do it. Size is a big factor Nk has it. It would be nice to hear from his Bro.
Watts at SFU and Harry go back long ways. All you guys have to do is find out where the old guy is and get him to coach one of the teams and this league will grow.
It tells you what bit of shape does to soccer.

Akal 3 - GN Sporting 2

GN opened the scoring early with a great move and shot from their striker outside the 18 yard box in the far right corner. However, Akal responded fairly quickly with a marker of their own to level the match at 1. With Akal dominating most of the play from that point, GN went ahead with a goal midway through the second half. Then with under 10 minutes to play, Akal's midfielder finished a fantastic free kick off the post and in from 25 yards out to level it at 2 and shortly after that with about a minute left in the game a scramble in the 6 yard box led to another Akal tally to give them the narrow 3-2 win against a solid performance from the GN lads.

Solid crowd out at Dennis Elsom!

Actually the winning goal was scored in the 92nd minute.........It was an excellent atmosphere for the game and the free-kick was superb. GN had to play the last 25 minutes with 10 men as one of their players received his second yellow. :(

Richmond FC 0 Westside Rino 1.
Tough loss as we had most of the play but fumbled around the 18. No decent shots from us other than a header which was parked right into the keepers hands. Missed Westsides goal but heard it was a cracker. On to next week.

Have the Gn boys matured in the past couple years?
