So let me get this straight we get caught drinking at Queens Park and Sapp will have to find a new place to play. There will be free Geegers and brew at our game against Sapp in the parking lot. Are we allowed to build a fire after the game ?

YES, It happened about 6 years ago. Bullshite I know, but that is New West Parks for ya.

All this talking about cold brews after a game is making me thirsty!!! I think the drinking teams will need to pool their money and arrange team buses....now the hard part...finding someone sober enough to drive the damn thing!

No worries if you can't have a beer at Queens Park, you could allways head down to Kits Pub or Mugs and Jugs or even the Royal Towers Casino, they will never close those places, New West rocks.

Short drive over the bridge and you get to the new Casino.

Being able to get away with pulling the dancer's blanket (with her on it) from one side of the stage at the Niagara to the other to get a closer view.

Mitzi at the Blue Boy (RIP, Mitzi).

ps - Scotty: HOS is dating himself. No one else will. Mugs has been closed. The only thing left is the Paramount, and you still can't drink there, even if you do know the owners.

Friendly result from Sunday night:

Sapperton 3
BRM 0

We showed up with 10 and no keeper, thanks to the Sapp boys for giving us a keeper for the first 20 minutes until a couple more guys showed up.

For a first run, there were many positives to take from this game for us though there were probably more positives for Sapp to take

Some turnovers in bad areas pretty much gave the Sapp boys their goals. We had a couple of really good chances ourselves but couldn't bury any of them.

Both teams had good spells of possession.

After the game, the one thing that really stood out to me wasw the fact that we played the game w/o a ref and things went extremely smooth. Fould were pretty much 'agreed' right away and even though Sapp was offside every ball they put through, we said nothing and let them have some fun.



Both teams were missing some key guys, looking forward to the first league game in less than 2 weeks.

VPD Open defeated WVFC Masters 1-0 this eve. Bad rainy night, good game. Youth and strength ultimately edged out skill and cunning this eve. Both teams are looking good for this year. VPD have their big tournament, this year it is in Seattle, in two weeks time.

Hey come on...what about "Harley"....if you weren't paying attention when she was..slidin' around on the stage...she grab your beer from right in front of your faceand do things with it that only a really sloshed sob would even think about drinkin' what was left in it....never mind the guy(s) that were trying to get a taste as she shot what she drank from out of her......glad I never got that hammered and always kept me hand on my beer!
