It's the front page. The poll is OK, but the rest...
I liked it when there was a front and centre top 10 or 20 or whatever list of trending topics we could easily see and jump in on.
The rest, I can work with it. You know I'll post, but I just liked it when it was easy for me to see other, trending topics. It encouraged me to post more on stuff I have no business otherwise posting on.
Prior to Zico 2.0, there was no home page. It simply redirected to the forums section of the site. What you are explaining you are 'missing' is still there on the forums 'home' page... look on the right hand side.
The 'new' site home page is simply a start of me FEATURING certain threads at this time. Could it be better? Yes but as I think I mentioned, it is a WIP... just today, I updated the feature listing for the Masters Provincial Cup by adding a tournament results tree... even that is a WIP.

Now there is an indicator of new posts since your last check - if there are 20 new posts, it will show a 20
I really need to do up some how-tos and 'tips & tricks' section here on TTP - I get the feeling there is a lot that is under utilized by the members simply because they haven't explored things for themselves - that's my bad.

You will find that link in a couple of spots, most notably on the site home page (subnav beside the newly discovered New Posts link) and within the Members section of TTP.
I gave it a solid 24 hours of checking back and reading new posts. The problem persists. It's not a big deal, it's just curious that it does this regularly.
