Regs, I've been having the same issues as Berg. I did what you said and hit the mark forums read button and it did reset the post count to zero. This was happening with the previous version as well but at least I now know how to reset it.

I doubt that as only 2 users have even mentioned that "issue" which I more or less attribute to the Pakistan Spammers I deal with early in the morning. If more than 2 people tell me in the appropriate area, I'd be happy to look further into it.

So, yes, I am experiencing the same issue. I currently see 28 New Posts on the flag and only 2 are accessible. Happens with Chrome, I.E., Firefox and Safari on computer and iDevices.

@kurgan I just made 4 test threads in the hidden forums - what's your unread count now (that are unaccounted for)?

After reading all the available posts, I am at 23 New Posts. The number dropped from 26 (28) to 23 (23) after I read the two ArticleBot threads on Fifa16 and Blazer

So the 4 new posts in the hidden forums had no effect on this issue.

Hit the Mark Forums Read link in the nav bar (after reading everything) and you should go back to zero.

I really do think this has to do with the spam cleaning efforts...
