Beernuts vs Cosmos today
Even with Herb's pathetic job as a ref and lack of our Keeper, Beernuts won 4-1 against the Cosmo's!
Dino did well in net again only letting in 1 PK that was a sh*tty call from Herb.........
But the Cosmos were definitely an entertaining team with Dave on his back for the most part! And the BBQ and 6 hours drinking following the game made it all that much better!

SC... Herb is annoying.....
He calls anything that he's told to.....
His response to one of our forwards being called offside (even though she wasn't) was "Well I already called it so I can't change it"
......cause he realized it was a bad call!
But I guess I have to get used to it as he seems to be the only co-ed ref!!!

Tryhards vs. Mountain Shadow
Tryhards pulled off another win 4-2 at Kwayquitlam last night.
Joe did a fine job of reffing the game from the centre circle and actually didn't have any complaints that I can remember.
Couldn't pot my second goal last night though as I was a little off balance all night. Had to take the the jewelry off to play and it totally threw off my balance.

Dragons 3 - 0 Young Guns
It was a hard fought battle between two stellar teams Sunday at the hallowed Osler Pitch. Back and forth. Great save after great save. Chance after chance. It's unfortuante that a game like that had to have a winner. Either team deserved the wi..........aw fcuk it. We rocked Osler yesterday. Max Blink was unbeatable in net in the second half. You couldn't have put a golf ball by him. Who needs HOS. Not the Dragons. Score three, and put Max in=game over. Gavin scored a beautiful left footed chip to open the scoring about 20 minutes in, then TheRob opened his quest for the AMSL Golden Boot with a sublime strike from just inside the six yard box to put the Dragons up by two. Renee(sp?)finished the scoring with another sweet goal in the 78th minute. All in all The Dragons looked fine. Lookout Cheatside, Tryhards, and all others. The Dragons are starting to roll.

Seems like your team managed to play a fairly good game after the Saturday night's activities....and had and had I been there, you would have definately slotted your second goal of the season....I have a way of setting up the opposing teams' forwards at the top of the 18 yard box

What matters is this...........The only thing that matters is who's name appears on the Golden Boot trophy at the end of the AMSL season. It won't be yours, and it won't be the Try Hard kings(Nesbit), but it will be TheRob's. Do you smell it? That's what TheRob..........is............cooking! Or maybe that's Notty queing something up. Whatever, you get the picture.

Nes-shite hasn't been to the last 2 games so he won't be getting the scoring title.
I think he might be a little jealous of Kirby, you know, the guy who scored 7 goals in the opening tournament and has 3 for this season!

They are just lying to you. Your fans can't make it because they are now Tryhard fans.
You'll see them sitting on the other side of the pitch during our game.
They have finally realized the truth about the Dragoons. They are kind of like France. They look good on paper, but put them on the field and they stink.

Not as Tryhard 6 - QLT (Quite Literally Tryhardest) 2
I whole heartedly agree with QLT being the biggest Tryhards of the season.
Their women were banging and knocking everyone around tonight.
And what's with the guy on the sidelines screaming and yelling all game at his team to "pick up" and "push out". I was just waiting for them to call a play or something.
Number 8 had a magnificent strike for their second goal but it was the only highlight of the night for that team.
I won't say more because it may be offending to them.
On a side note, Yoda did not continue his goal streak but he had his chances but that 6 yard box is so far away he couldn't hit the net.
Instead he settled for setting of 3 of the 6 goals with magnificent crosses.
