Question for the masses. It seems like the local Scottish community has produced some very fine soccer players. They dominate at all groups of the Nation's Cup. Why doesn't the Scottish National Team enjoy such success? Why don't they just recruit from the Lower Mainland?
Could it be that the pool of players to pick from is a larger inventory seeing that everyone seems to have a little Scottish in them? I mean, I married a Scottish gal, so my son will be able to play for Scotland in the tourney one day. Oh my! What a dilemma this could present? It's pretty scary, my kid can already understand what Tommy McQuaid is muttering when he's had a few in the beer garden. Of course, I have to towel him off after the discussion. The lad fits right in, and Scotland may benefit one day. The winning ways will continue.
