1 change on the menue,, Steak ,Corn on the Cob and now Potato Salad. Sorry Potato lovers,,We discovered it was going to be a nightmare to handle that many baked potatoes. So the chef tells me. LOL, sorry for the last minute detail changes,,But we do have lots and lots of beer. You know this was way more work than I thought,,But we are all haveing a wicked time doing it. I sure hope you all have as much fun as we are.

Wow those trophies are beaut. Could I suggest the addition of a few other trophies? Could we see a "Hottest chick in the beer garden trophy?" or "Quickest player to injure himself after doing nothing all summer then playing in a competative tounament?" (this would be the only catagory I could possibly win) or mabye "Best goon" (guru would say I am a shoo win for that one)

It's noon and we play in 5 hours, really looking forward to it. While we (poco city) hardly have the best players in the club participating I NEED to play on Sunday, my inlaws are coming over and I need a great excuse not to be there.

I have to admit, so far, very impressive. When I first heard about this tourney, I thought the prize money was a myth.

And, have to take the English bird at this point.

Question, and this may be nitpicky: what is w/ the kid in basketball shoes on the website? You should try and recruit Reggi, and get a shadow of him doing "The Move".

Playing for Mike's team vs some group of Chinese Greg Louganis imitators. Either that, or there are one helluva lot of snipers in the bush along the back fence on field #1.

Down 3-0 in the 1st half, we wake up and decide to make a game of it. Game tied at the half 3-3.

Nice goal sets us up 4-3 midway through, then we get Mauricio'd. Their large, lumbering forward, who must be at least 5'11" and about 225ish, floats through the air over my right foot, which has just finished tapping the ball away. Bang! goes the sniper, and buddy's rolling around on the ground. Tweet! goes Sr. Navarro, and the game is tied with a peno. Fcukin' dive! yell all the players in red, and a number of the beer garden attendees as well.

Classic...it couldn't have been any more archtypal even with our socks rolled down.

Looking forward to tomorrow am's game after watching AFC Carib (oops, I mean ACBC "A") dismantle somebody else in red. Also looking forward to seeing Captain Dynamo in the beer garden...

So busy I havent been able to sleep or post here but ACBC A and Korea are the 2 wild card teams. Others makeing the semis are the Surrey Dynamo,ACBC B,Dewdney CoachMen.Port Moody Fury,Kosova and the Vancouver United. Games Sunday are at 12noon ,2pm,4pm and 6pm all at the 8rinks turf fields Bby.
Finals Monday at 6pm and 8pm.
Beer Gardens and food Sunday but not Monday,,,,sorry

Tommorrow at 6pm the Port Moody Fury will play the ACBC-B for 3rd spot and $550 bucks at 8rinks turf.
At 8pm the Vancouver United will play the ACBC-A for $8000 and 1st place trophie. runner up will receive $2000.
Come down and check it out. We all had a super weekend and thanx to all who were there either by helping out ,watching or playing.

Its going to be a helluva final ACBC-A vs Van United,,a few India players from the Nations cup if my info is correct.
Van United and ACBC A tied 2-2 in the round robin play. Van United won division with better goals for. You couldnt ask for a better final. 6pm for 3rd place game and the final again at 8pm .
