Some of the same guys, not quite as strong but when I look at their roster, I see they still have a good group of guys capable of winning this cup.

Basically all ex metro players that I grew up playing with for Abbotsford a few years back.

And then you left abby soccer for glory across the river.....where's the loyalty?????

Red Devils 3 - 1 win over TWU

We played great first 35 min and put 3 away. Played pretty defensive / safe the rear of the way but pretty sloppy at times. They scored off a set price scrambld play in the 89th min but other then that they didn't have any threats offensively

Get out those six studs boys. Anyone know anything about Sentinel?. Another top half div 2 killer from div 4 for us, certainly won't be underestimating them.

The field has been draining really well, surprised its in good condition, although lots of the games have been moved to turf during any rain. Won't be able to make the game that Saturday good luck to the boys, should be a battle vs the quality of grove.

If for some reason it hammers down rain, I would guess it would be moved to pitt secondary turf which is literally right above the grass field up the hill for most likely the same time. I'm sure it will be fine and played on grass.

Looks like quite a few names from a few years back when they stormed into the league scoring over 100 goals in season and lost in semis of Prez cup to ACBC. did the same club start over again but change location to Langley?

Red Devils 1 - 0 win over CELTIC

Poor grass was a big factor in the game ( especially for our team ). Real bouncy and hurt our passing game.

Anyway. We had great corners today and scores on 1 in the first. We should have have 3 other goals but poor finishing and a bit of bad luck.

We got a red in the 75th minute and CELTIC had a good push to end the game.

Not a great performance by us at all but onto semis !

Poor, poor start by us again. First half was a scramble with royals having a few good chances and better possession. In the second half, we had most of the possession, hitting the crossbar at least 6 times by my count.
Overall, royals played with good intensity and skill. A goal earlier, by either team, would have helped to open things up a bit more.
Despite our poor luck, our goalie saved 2 pks and we won 4-2 in the shootout.

Side note: Nice to have linesman today despite there only being 1 offside the whole game. Not being used to having linesman, one of our guys threw a water bottle off the the field during the game and accidentally blindsided one of the linesman right in the face.

Does Milan get players out for their regular season games? Why are they so low in the standings? They played outstanding today. We definitely played a more defensive game and allowed Milan to come at us. It was a grinding game for both teams, with Milan definitely having most possession, and unlucky not to go 1 up early in the game. We scored 30 mins in. We missed a few sitters on counterattacks in the 2nd half as Milan was pushing. They had a few shots here and there as every team gets in a game, but overall our centerbacks handled their forwards pretty straightforwardly. Not much of an attack for Milan. Props to the Milan players playing in the center of the park, they had an amazing game.
PS - Franchise, we have played 2 games and had 1 practice in 2015. Definitely a little rusty. Good teams always need some luck here and there. We got ours today.
