I am back on the bandwagon Regs... Always support Canada.
The 7-1 loss to Honduras I listened to on the radio from Palm Springs....still remember that game. They just needed a tie. And Honduras scored like a minute in.
Anyone want to hop on the bandwagon? Lot's of room......
Playing in CONCACAAF or however you spell it will be different. Besides the kick and run Americans, most of the Latin countries play more of a possession style game, which I don't think fits well with RT's style of play.
Lots of old faces still around, De Guzman, Edgar,Atiba, Rickets etc..
Was Tesho Akindele the forward that was being courted by the US men's national team as well? He would be a good addition....
If we can get him capped, and join hin up with Laryn, the forward line could actually have some bite to it. We will see...
Tesho + Larin could be decent for Canada... the other Canada-Eligible MLS'er someone needs to convince to sign up is Ethan Finlay from the Columbus Crew. However, keep in mind these guys are all MLS players... expectations for them should be tempered, as we all know about MLS quality.
One thing I was wondering the other day, was that 7-1 loss to Honduras effectively the end of Andre Hainault's international career?
Hainault did a year in Scotland and then has been in Bundesliga 2, but his team just got relegated. Not sure if he goes down with them or looks for a new team...
It's a Greek colony, originally "conquered" in 1654.
Word on the street is the current Greek government is offering it up to clear it's "debts" to the EU. Although this should be big news, it's being overshadowed by some white chick claiming to black.
Your tendency is to make every post I scribe related to something Greek. It's a phenomenon and can even be considered a medical condition/syndrome. There is a cure. But it will hurt.
As I am one of your rare but responsible posters, I will get this thread back on track. Dominica is an up and coming sports powerhouse.
