Tomorrow's match is HUGE (vs Manitoba)...

As Sir M said....very cold and windy in Saskatoon, made it very tough to play and to get good shots off.

First half we took it to them, lots of chances but couldn't quite finish them. They scored off a long ball into the box about 20 mins in, tough to deal with the wind and they scored a scrappy one.
We definitely took it too them for the half ...all they had was the long ball over the top with fast guys upfront and the wind helping them.

Second half we came out going with the wind and it made things much easier. We went at them all half but continued to miss some big chances. It seemed as though it was going to be one of those days. Finally with about 12 or so to go, ball into the box and Robbie Giezen headed in a scrappy one.
We kept going at them as we wanted the 3 points...90th min dailly with a great free kick from 35 yards out swung it right across the front of goal and a couple of us made runs right across the keeper so he froze and it went right in the corner.!!!!!

Great battle by us and everyone showed a lot of heart.

And apparently ALB did lose to MAN in the other game...so huge game for us tmr...

Also, Des toughed it out and played 90 mins...and was causing problems for their backline all game

Milad came on for the last 15 mins (as we really needed him)...although struggling, he did well.

DCR 20 - although possibly suffering a stroke or minor heart attack during the game, is back to feeling 100%

Davey will be a mess this evening.

In all honesty the VMSL website at least puts in accurate scores.

Rags, no neieds for insalts here, Mistar Base is a pricey member of futbol soccer kicking comunatey. Nxt times maybe jus give adults replies. Always making sarkasim no good for candian game, more grassroutes sapport needed from grate players like you in forms of coaching.
