Bosna 4 Pumas 1
Pumas started with 10 guys for first 10 minutes or so, we had a very nice shot from about 30 yards out just go under the post which made it 2-1. They got there 11th guy in after that. They controlled the ball in mid field very well having some very skilled players but really did not threaten with any chance in the first half. We had a few breaks also but couldnt capitalize. Start of the second half we had a through ball go to our forward and he slotted it into the left hand corner. After the second goal we really started to get comfortable and they dominated us in the middle. Kept putting balls through but not really having good chances out of them.

There first goal came from the top of the box when it was going low and our keeper fumbled it and they recovered the ball and scored. After that they pressed hard and had another shot just go wide of the post. They kept pushing forward just leaving 2 defenceman back and we would counter and quickly got the third one. After that goal they seemed to have lost life as they slowed the play down quite a bit. Our 4th goal came of a PK near the end of the second half. Pumas is very skilled but some of the players seem to like to dribble with the ball too much.

Our game against Caspian got pushed to Wednesday night so lets see how that will work out on such short notice.

I guess Caspian-Bosna game just started, should be a good one.
Manchester, how does Bosna team compare to week 1? I saw your game against Cosmos and wasn't too impressed, did you make some changes?

Our first 3 games we didn't have all of our starters. It's been tough getting out every single guy to come out. Since the 5-0 loss to Pumas we made huge changes when we practiced . We have a pretty decent team but once we argue with each other that's when we really lose the game. Caspian game should be good, I'll know by tomorrow if we will have all our starters or not.

Bosna 3 Caspian 1

Caspian came out strong, had a nice shot from top of the box , keeper just got it and it rolled to hit the post and went across the face of the goal. After that game was back and forth , no other really clear chances in the first half. Pretty even game.

Second half Bosna came out very strong , pushing balls down the side and crossing them in, about 15 minutes in ball was on the side, crossed it and hit 1 of the defenders in the hand giving us a PK. We score, Caspian seem to push more guys up and quickly get a second goal by playing it down the wing again. Third goal came from a long ball and we chipped the keeper. Caspian kept pushing and had a nice long ball come through and our keeper kind of just sat there like a stone wall and ball went right by him.

Overall I think we played a better game, this is probably the second game where we had 10/11 of our starters.

Looks like you got the 1st place wrapped up, considering pretty easy remaining games.
Caspian should be able to hold on to the playoff spot.

It seems Bosna never has all their starters together. Of course this is the VMSL, and I doubt there are many teams who always have their staters, nevertheless, I am not bitter and we lost to a better team.

Game was pretty much as Manchester said. First half was 50/50, best chance falling to Caspian's striker who hit the post. Second half started similar, but Bosna quickly took over and became the dominant team. Caspian, down a goal, changed from a 4-4-2 to a 3-5-2 early on, around the 60th minute. This change was exploited and Bosna was the only team in it after that. Caspian pulls a consolation goal with around 10 minutes left.

Both teams have good players and it was a decent game, but Bosna played the better football on the day. Their experience showed in the second half. It's hard seeing Bosna drop points to anyone, but there's hope.

Celtic 2 Unfriendly Friends 1.

Classless Fcuk who pushed the ball into our net with his arse last time was classless again, but got to spend much of his time getting knocked over by Catorce until he decided to have a lie-down by himself. Nice goals all around, and good vindication for our Bhoys, although we still seem to need at least 30 chances to get one goal. Home vs. Pylons on Sunday, if Adanac ever dries out (which we doubt it will, even after the amount of sand that the C of V dumped on it).

Not much to explain - he has a tendency to whine a lot, and when the challenges got too physical for his liking (although still legal), he just sat down and had a bigger whine a la Senhor Ronaldo. Thankfully, Taki wasn't buying it at all. What else did he do? Not much except complain and waste time.

Taki is a good ref he will not buy into classless fruck acting. That lad spends far toomatch time lamy frucking. He came here and never changed.
Valley is looking for teams. He would fit in well in that area. Would be easy for him to book a lamy.
There is now way Adanac will be open. It will be bog sity. They need to dig a ditch on the hill side and bring it to south back lane drains to fix that darn field.

Ummm we won't play NorWest unless there's a Cup game between us this season... maybe set up the Futility Bowl for the Wooden Spoon trophy, and we can schedule it at Adanac and have it rained out...

Most Excellent Site has it recorded as a 3-2 loss to the Pylons with Angelo reffing. Good game but our goalkeeper experiment in the first half didn't work as planned. We fell into a large hole after tying at 1s as Neo faced a few more pacey shots than he is quite ready for, so we swapped keepers and Steady played the rest of the game between the posts. Neo responded with a good finish in the 2nd half to keep it respectable, but once again the Bhoys are having too much trouble finishing. Lots of pressure, but the last touch just doesn't quite seem to be there yet. Credit to the Pylons as well; they have a great work rate and an extremely large keeper who is also fairly mobile for a guy his size.

All that said, we have a lot of young guys who will get better as they get more experience and learn what it takes to win at this level. Highlight of the match was Donal's diving header that just curled outside the post; had it gone in it would have been a goal of the year candidate.

Lamy frucking is a new sport in the Valley? Mr. Base, you never cease to amaze me...
