Cliff Avenue 3 Estrella de Chile 2 - okay game, both teams missing some players...game had a few rough patches, but both teams battled hard throghout.

Cliff missing so many that they played the full 90 with only 10 men.

score was actually 2-0. only our second game and still holding tryouts. missing at least 5 starters last game and people were playing in different positions than they will be in the season. this is preseason people. don't read a lot into scores at this point of the season.

I see watcher thinks he will be in premier before the season starts. It is Ivan who coaches. Not Watcher. He just talks the talk. Just wate till teams go for fifty fifty balls. Talk will stop in its track. Akal used kids for try out, not the real team. Nk D is strong mid not so front was ok for div two. div one they lack a go to guy with pace. It stregth that keaps you up top. Pace alone can not do it.

Why do people bother to say........."Yah we were missing 15 starters".....WTF? Just post the score as it is a preseason. You can start making the starters excuse when you start losing league games. Also, at least NAME the missing starters so there is some credibility.......and write what position they play.

It's preseason, refs are trying out new whistles and such so I don't think it's fair to really judge them at this time.

Sapp 1 - 2 Delta

Sap missing 8 guys

No really, Delta did only manage to pull 11. It looked pretty preseason. Pierotti will score a lot of goals this year for Sapp. He scored in the 30th. Delta scored in the 65th and 75th (one on a bad pass back and one really nice play capped off by Harp). Garth made 2 terrific saves. He stuck a fork in the second one that was going top shelf.

JB - getting a little heavy, bud!

CS was in the middle. A tad slow catching the offsides - the fitness is lacking and the consecutive 20 to 20 to 20 to 20 sprints were not quick enough for the 2 teams.
