everyone on the Celtic gets a solid 20 to 30 minutes ... (give Shifty a call, I'll put in a good werd for ewe)...

BTW: newest rookie brings the first bottle for pre-game shots.... I think we're undefeated with Disarrono

OH... and very strict this season ... everyone MUST be to games 10 minutes prior kick off... OR ELSE... not sure what else is...

If yer too blotto from the night before and don't think you'd wake up for the game... you can call any team mate and they'll sleep at the field with you so you don't miss it... yes that's been done a few times.... what are team-mates for !

Also, showing up drunk at games is frowned upon.... by the league and other teams... this is serious! We use the 12 strike rule/policy...

....throwing up on the feild is a round...

So what other teams have made big signing this off season? I know the Nomads but anyone else? Now that Red Devils, Acbc and Guildford are gone who are the 3 favorites to get promoted? Besides Pomo being there usual self.

technically there will be no promotions this year due to the divisional realignment. So it will be a battle to finish 1st in each divisional group to stay in div. 2

if inter parted ways with Franchise, they have to be half decent, and pomo gunners are always good. But you cant overlook Mission (if its the same team that won Presidents cup 2 years back???) so 2A is a battle between them

2B will be between PA Nomads, Aldegrove, BC United and possible SFC Caps if what I hear is true and they are acting as the new SFC Guildford farm team if you will. They will be much improved.

2C seems the weakest IMO. Young guns will be strong again this year and be hungry from just missing promotion last year (although they didn't wanna play us in an exhibition?) If the Dynamo B team stay in, they will be half decent. The only other team I can see doing well is one of the Abby teams.

It is Dynamo that dropped from 2C as far as I know.
Can't remember which team is which in 2A all the Poco and Port Moody teams blend together but Mission was pretty good a couple years ago in the cup.
Nomads should win their division, Aldergrove was Div.1 last year? And didn't BC United get promoted from Div.3? Is there something I don't get here?

No, you're right, House just wanted to throw some other names out there so the other teams don't get dejected before the season even starts.

yeah there is actually some good teams in division 2, but that also comes along with some shitty games too.

Agreed... that's why I retired... Div 2 SUX ! it's just a notch above div 3, and not as good as div 1.... JMHO from what I've seen.

I don't disagree.

In each Division 2 pool there is always a team that would finish well above to just above the relegation zone in div 1.

The real problem is there are 2-3 teams in each div 2 pool that bring down the curve that would finish mid pack in D3... It sucks to play a team like ACBC B and have a great game that would put some to most D1 games to shame for speed and skill then go out and kill someone 8-0 the next weekend...

This is why the new divisional alignment is going to make the top 3 tiers of the FVSL WAY WAY WAY better in the coming years.

I run an escort agency on the side and each night we pick a " player of the game " and let him have 90 min. with the girl of his choice. Last year (our first) we had 32 guys signed by the end of the year. This year we have enough for 2 teams.

When Mike_C 9 heard this story he was signed within 60 seconds.

What you don't get is that good teams improve themselves year to year. Whether it's through merging, i.e. PAU Nomads formerly LUFC Nomads or picking up new players.

LOL, That's why elbowroom manages the Div.3 team, cause the Div.2 players didn't want to get distracted by all the tail coming to practice, games, and knocking randomly at the door. And that's why elbow has signed a couple good players this year for Div.3. BC United Div.3B definitely a favourite for promotion.

They should. They're starting lineup will consist of 2 VMSL Premier players from last year, and then 9 guys that went 29-1-3 over 2 years in D3, D2 till we were promoted to D1 and were a .500 team. I didn't really see them being challenged in D3 this year.

I dont know, I just dont think that a newly formed team, since they merged with the chaos deserves to be sent up in their 1st season without even playing 1 game!
