Coachmen 10 - Chilli 6... wtf both teams play without keepers? or did the scorekeeper type that score in with too much easter chocolate on their fingers?

Achilles ...waiting for surgery.

As a physio, I think a torn Achilles tendon is probably one of the hardest injuries to recover from. He'll probably be out for the better part of a year if it's a complete rupture. That being said, I hope he's doing well and I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Sporting 4- Aldo Utd. 2
We went up 2-0 and dominated most of the first half. They had a couple decent chances with one hitting the bar and bouncing straight down and into our GK's hands. They came back and score 2 quick ones in the first 10 mins on some sloppy defending, poor marking and great finishing (in that order). We finally woke up with about 15 to play and made it 3-2 and then added one with about 5 to play to finish it off. Our GK (no, not Canuck this time!)made some great saves in the game to keep us in it and keep us ahead.
A great ending to a rollercoaster season, we went 4-0-1 down the stretch after some disappointing results to start the new year. Who woulda thought that Sporting would finish the season tied for 5th?! Hell yeah!!!

BTW, post-game partying at the Starlight Casino beats lockerroom hot dogs any day of the week....especially when you have a craps roller like 'Soft-Hands Harvey....'

See ya next year.

Congrats to the boys on a strong finish I wish I could have been part of it. Who would have thought we would have finished tied for 5th after fighting off religation the past couple of seasons. Anyways just want to thank "G" for filling in for me and doing a great job and maybe I should have step away sooner as he did a remarkable job. Great Job Boys!

Also I want to wish Sandro a quick recovery as he seems like a great kid and is always fun to play against.

See you all next year and have a great summer!

Unlucky to Sandro, one of the best guys you will ever meet, and a very good player for sure....My Buddy at work here was out for 18 months plus with an Achilles Injury that was initially thought to be not so bad...

Ruptured my achilees in March of 2006, had the surgery, and was back playing at the beginning of Sept. Not up to speed - but was never very good or fast - to begin with. It takes a lot of rehab, but coming back in playing after watching things for a few months, was a great feeling. The pain killers sure helped alot for the first couple of months.

Sandro Tassone

You know your public stature is in good shape when you hear all the well wishes posted on here for someone.

He is easily one of the most dangerous players I've ever played against.
I'm sure glad he plays in my Club now. :D
His pace and finishing in his younger years were phenomenal and the game will certainly miss him for the stint away while rehabbing his achilles.

Hope you get well soon Sandro and unlucky mate,
Frase

Which "Girth" are you referring to? Taking it? Most likely. My thoughts go out to you, you selfish bastard.

No seriously, anybody that gets injured on the field playing the game that you love gets props and prayers from me.

Heck, I got injured and got called a faker on here, it goes with being good.

or with being bad, and suddenly going "travelling" then coming back "injured" then playing a random half here and there "injured" no big deal though.
