In addition to Scott Kerr, Clay Prest, and BJ we added Oliver Vlek to our squad tonight. The depth is unbelievable. We have also let go some of our meat heads and expect a whole new look this year.

Hey Guru. When are your Tryouts?

I expect tryouts to be very intense this year... I don't like to make them too early, so right now we're hoping to have them late August/early Sept. ... should have the team picked by Sept. 10th... cuz I think we play the following weekend... Gives us a solid week to train

Off Season Rumours -


The Clones are rumoured to be partially merging with another team, or at least gaining some players from another Langley team. This should help Scotty filter out some of his hanger-ons and add some much needed competition. Look for a revitalized squad with some new faces. Curious however will be 1" shorter than previously recorded due to the natural shrinking process that occurs to males in their 50's through 80's.

hector, don't be surprised to see that new team in div2, for this year, i'm sure relegation will be looming for them at the end of the season! haha! word is that they'll join the poco city club if they get into div2, but not if they have to be in div3, maybe they think they'll go back to geu or something...

Some guys said they won't play Div3 they would just sit the year out (brutal in my mind) there are a few wasy they can get in Div2, one they buy a spot from another club (we won't sell our's) two apply throught the league (not likely) or win Div3, I hope they do good and I wish them well, but I don't see them in Div2. just my opinion.

Talent wise you'll hae no problem playing Div2, theres just alot of red tape to get a spot given to you, that's all that means, most teams have to start in Div3 regardless of how good they are.

Well the new PoCo Coty team is looking pretty damn good.. the line up continues to grow stronger and stronger evrey week. We have signed 3 former premier players that are looking to have fun without the harsh commitments of the premier squad, therefore they are playing with us in Div. 2.. In addition to the 3 players, we have signed 4 or 5 new faces which will only make our squad stornger and hopefully contenders for the cup, but thats a ways a way so we'll take it one step at a time.
