Dragons 3 Temple 0
Game was closer than the score indicates. It was 1-0 nil deep into the second half with the Dragons scoring on a quick counter with us pushed up.
Both teams were missing alot of players. A combination of guys away for the long weekend along with a few of our guys heading out East to support ICST resulted us being very short on numbers. Dragons looked liked they had some Peach Arch callups to fill in the numbers as well.
Looking forward to the rematch, hopefully with both teams having a full roster.
On a side note, the referee was horrendous. I don't complain about ref's much, but both teams were shaking their heads at some of the calls. He would wait for the first player on the fields to make the calls before blowing the whistle. Whomever yelled the loudest and first got the call.
I would rather have Father John and his random offside generator.
On another side note, we had no linesman. which only made the horrible ref even more horrible. When we asked the ref where the linesman were, he said they did not want to make the drive out to Richmond. Are you kidding me? Masters Premier are suppose to have linesman at all games. None showed up because they did not want to cross the Alex Fraser? Unreal.
You can have all the matching game balls you want, that is just bush league.

1st goal was decent, second goal (at the 1st half whistle) SUCKED ! Goalie should have had that one... I blame him/her for the loss...
