PAU squeaked one out against Temple last night, 1-0. Apparently Temple doesn't have any CFL fans with a small army on the side lines and us with 11 able bodies. Hung on for dear life at the end.

Castillos 3 Rangers 1. Rangers came out strong, hit the crossbar in the first few minutes. After the first 10 mins, it was pretty much one way traffic. Rangers goalie was truly outstanding and made at least 3 or 4 saves he had no business saving. Referee was solid in the middle. I must say the NDA team from last year were much better hosts - no food, no socializing from this new group.

On to Delta and again very short bodies next week. Going to be tough to win our 9th straight.

And the the whino meter was at an all time low last night. The New North Delta doesn't carry on like the Older North Delta squad.

Good, clean match last night. Ref was indeed solid as where the ARs.
JTL is correct about the NDU keeper, several saves he had no business saving, perhaps as many as 6 beauties.

Delta United 2 - PAU 1

Hard played,clean game today down on the grass in South Surrey. We scored first on a breakdown on their left side, goalie made 1st save but our guy able to slot rebound. They made some subs at the half and brought on some pace. They pressed us a bit after the break and JC levelled it after some sustained pressure and us unable to clear our lines. We took the lead for good with about 25 to go on a nice passing play which was tucked away by our right half. They had a goal called back for offside and both goalies made some good saves in close. We hung on at the end as they pressed for the equalizer.

Good 3 points for us condsidering how many guys were away. Saturday afternoon game not great for dads with kids who play.
