Congrats to Man U for winning the league, now head back to Old Trafford and take down the fcukin banner.

They will change it to 43years now, the last time we won the league.

Absolutely. It's 43 years since you've won a decent trophy ;)

Now that that Premiership and FA Cup trophy's have been decided, a few massive matches this weekend in terms of where teams will play next year.

With West Ham relegated, any two of : Wigan, Blackpool, Birmingham, Wolves & Blackburn can go down.

The applicable fixtures :

Manchester United vs. Blackpool
Stoke vs. Wigan
Spurs vs. Birmingham
Wolves vs. Blackburn

I’m picking Wigan & Birmingham to go down. Blackpool with a draw against United to stay up.

The bottom :

Sunderland - 44 pts (officially safe)
Blackburn - 40 pts / -14 goal difference
Wolves - 40 pts / -19
Birmingham - 39 pts / -20
Blackpool - 39 pts / -21
Wigan - 39 pts / -22
West Ham - 33 pts / -24

I say Blackpool and Wigan go down as I think those two and Birmingham will all lose.

That said, Wigan could pull something off against Stoke and Birmingham could get a point or even a better result against Spurs.

It'll be interesting - And the Blackburn/Wolves match is intriguing too.
Its certainly up in the air innit?

Congrats Walks et al on Man U having another great year.

Old Trafford youngsters lift Youth Cup
By - Monday, 23 May, 2011

Manchester United overcome Sheffield United to clinch silverware.
Manchester United win 6-3 on aggregate

Ravel Morrison and Will Keane scored a brace apiece to see off Sheffield United and help Manchester United's youngsters lift The FA Youth Cup sponsored by E.ON.

A day after their senior counterparts were handed the Premier League trophy, Old Trafford's up and coming talent earned their own moment of glory as they beat the Blades 6-3 on aggregate to register the club's tenth success in the competition.

Morrison got the scoring underway finishing well into the bottom corner before Keane got his first from the penalty spot after Terry Kennedy's handball inside the area.

Sheffield United's Harry Maguire went off on a stretcher early in the second half shortly before Morrison made it 3-0 with low drill into the corner.

Joe Ironside pulled one back for the visitors but Keane responded with another to round off the scoring and see United claim the Youth Cup for the first time since 2003.

The man that will score the winner next weekend to wrap up the season (sound track has a few swears)!

Just a hunch...

Massive news from the United camp yesterday ....... Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has retired from playing professional football at the age of 36, but will join the club's coaching staff.

Zinedine Zidane said:
"My toughest opponent? Scholes of Manchester. He is the complete midfielder. He is undoubtedly the best midfielder of his generation."
