talked to Franchise, why the hell is Pitt Meadows and other jurisdictions closing fields?! We played on a fcuking icerink of a field a few weeks back against NFS Knights, on a pitch that should have been closed by refs discretion nevermind the parks board, which explains why rotary turf is the way it is....

The email I got about SSAP said fields closed (even turfs) due to light snowfall and the potential for unpredictable weather.

ffs...

We have 4 league games to make up plus now a cup game with 1 make up game spot on the schedule.... what will they do? postpone the rest of week 1 cup games and try to get them in next week, and those teams that already played will endeavor to make up the odd game? Stolo has 5 league games to get in plus a cup game now assuming they don't get in today in Pomo (which had a lot of snow...)

That would make sense, Cause most teams probably can't get field time during the week. The best way they could do it would to be postpone all games this weekend and push it back a week.

This is ridiculous, this is about as good a nite you'll get this time of year and were not playing? It's clear and 6 above. What's the reason? If this is how it's gonna be were gonna be making up games next fall

Young Guns 3- Dynamo 1
Perfect weather for a match tonight. YG's had the majority of chances and possession in the first half. Dynamo stuck first on a counter attack, nice goal. We came back and tied it up shortly after, and took the lead with an identicle play 5 min before halftime. Second half was just ugly grinding soccer. Not a lot of action or threats at goal. With Dynamo pushing for the equalizer, we countered and put the match away with minutes remaining. Good win for us. Kinda sad to have this match for the first round of cup. We would've welcomed it a little further along in the cup run.... On to round two.

Game tonight: White Rock United A Div. 2 - 3 LUFC Div. 4B Wolves - 2. WR good group of guys. They scored the winner with 5 minutes left in the game. Both teams were given the quick get ready for PK's from the referee. WR scored from off a decent corner kick that we did not clear out properly. We scored first and rattled them somewhat. They tied it before half and then went ahead about the 65 min. mark. We tied it off a free kick about 75 minutes in. We seem to do well playing White Rock based teams. If we played like that all year our record ijn our Div. would be much better. We had 16 players show up for this one. Good Luck to everyone else still in Cup play.

Port moody magpies 3-2 in pks over N.D. Sundowner.

Good game, we led twice in the match. PM were the better side tonight. however, i would like a rematch when we are not missing 6 starters, fielding 2 guys in there 40's and 1 in his 60's. Aswell as having no subs. No doubt they were the better side and deserved the win and not in pk's either. good job by the lads tonight, well faught, good luck Pm the rest of the way.

NCU 2 Bradner 1 in pks. Tough break for Bradner as their goalie gets hurt 5 mins before the shootout. Their backup made a save in pk's as did our keep, but they put one high and we scored on the rest.

Glad we spent 3 hours shoveling snow of the turf yesterday! Well worth it as we're off to the second round to face NFS Celtic3A or Langley Clones4B. I hope they get their game in soon....
