I believe that Subway will have quite a competetive side in the Open Division. Even though one of their best players had to cancel because of Lamaze classes.

LUFC Nomads win it all!!!!!!

we went undefeated through the 'B' Division and won the final 2-1 vs. Surrey FC, who I understand is the SFC Pegasus U-18 Metro team.

then in the beer garden (thirsty penguin) we won the draw for the trip for a team to Vegas!!!!!!

mixed tournament for the a division, with us losing our first game 8-1, 2nd 3-2, then winning 6-1, followed by a 3-3 tie. However had a great day and thanks to Niall and the rest of the guys from soccer resort who put it all on!!!

Actually, it was "the other" not "the new". I'll let her reveal herself...!!

thanks Dan for coming out, and to the other lads too...

We really loved Vancouver, and hope to be coming back soon. And I even came home a red neck - so much sun.

Subway had an excellent side, and BOHICA won the Coed, very good performance there. The Women's was a three way - Port Moody Salsa came on the outside to knock out the Lush Puppies of the final, and then beat the Tsawwassen Rebels in the final (who had played Coed too...)

But it was the Nomads, who won the drawing for the Vegas tournament August 28/29 - games played at night and up at Red Rock, so it will be cool enough. Tournament is open to all!

Actually Dan was right, it was 8-1 with the 7 goal Mercy Rule!!

So the Nomads leave for Vegas tomorrow, I only managed to get 8 guys to go (people are total flakes ), and it looks like we've been put in the Open division. And to top things off the weather network says it'll be 42c each of the 4 days we're there. Good things the first game of the day is at 5pm?

They're having party at the RockHouse (anyone been there?) I called to reserve a table and they said minimum order is 2 bottles ($200-$275ea), I've heard some people say that's the way to go, other say avoid at all costs. thoughts?

I see reading back that the Langley Lush Puppies were thinking of going dont see em on the list but could be another name, are the Semiahmoo Sharks from BC?

Either way should be a blast! We're gonna be run ragged, if we are out of bed for the 4pm bus to the fields...
