I find it interesting that there is no mention of it on the excellent site. I have heard that Alemania does not want to be promoted, but don't know for sure. They finished second in Div 1. We can ask Romanian on Sunday I guess.

Sir M, I saw the coach of Alemania at the Whitecaps game on the weekend. He said that they didn't have enough interest from his players to go to premier as they feel they would get walloped on a consistent basis. He also sublimely stated that they possibly lost their last 3 games on purpose, two of those to Romania to fall into second place!!!!

I guess Sunday Romanian will get a better idea how they would fare up one div Scilacci.

I heard a rumour that before Sundays game against the mighty Westside, KLM were 60/40 for going up. If Sundays performance was anything to go by, they could certainly scrap out a few wins in the top tier.

Scrapping out a few wins puts them at the bottom and right back where they are this year....1st Div...why would they bother?

They just scrap together a couple of wins and are right back to where they belong....hoping and praying that no Div 1 team wants to be promoted

Were you not there? From my perspective it was a fairly even match through 60 minutes then they lost steam. No subs and succumbed to a better squad. And yes they lost 5-2.

Games are 90 minutes.

VISL Provincial Cup teams; Uvic (League Winner), Gorge(Tony Grover Cup Winner), Vantreights (thanks to Gorge) unless we somehow finish second in the league, SaltSpring (Tony Grover Cup Runner Up).

A couple of these may be up in the air. but this is my prediction.
