Just in, WAB has already posted the 6 Provincial berths from the VMSL masters. Not sure if up coming games matter anymore, as you all now know the 6 teams getting in!!:D

In the Metro, the 6 spots (and rightfully so) are already settled:
Sapp
Columbus
WV
WS
PCOV
Wickham

Ok I am going to try to squeeze these out quickly. There have been two weeks of play for most teams since the last rankings. So lets get going right away with the lastest edition of:

Sir M's Excellent Power Rankings 2010-2011

1. Columbus FC (VMSL). Last week's rank: 1. Columbus won both of their last two games and sit in first place in the VMSL. Romania next.

2. Port Coquitlam Castillians (FVSL). Last week's rank: 4. Poco are steaming right along after their opening game tie, and handled the Dragons easily last week. No idea who they play next.

3. Sapperton Rovers (VMSL). Last week's rank: 6. This team moves up after two straight wins. They score a lot of goals, especially against teams near the bottom of the table. Home to Surrey United next.

4. West Van FC (VMSL). Last week's rank: 3. West Van drops one after relinquishing a second half lead at #1 Columbus, followed by a win at home against Wickham. Off to Richmond next.

5. Westside FC A (VMSL). Last week's rank: 5. Westside holds its spot after a tie and a win. KLM next, followed by several postponements.

6. White Rock United (FVSL). Last week's rank: 2. A couple of ties over the last two weeks against lower ranked teams drops this side. Due to the FVSL site being indecipherable, staff does not know when or whom they are up against next.

7. Delta United (FVSL). Last week's rank 10. DU is up a big 3 spots after a tie and a win against higher ranked teams.

8. Surrey United (VMSL). Last week's rank: 11. SU moves up after two straight wins against the bottom teams in VMSL Masters Premier. Will everyone show up this Friday night at Sapperton?

9. South Delta United (FVSL). Last week's rank: 7. South Delta drops two spots after a win, and then a loss in the Delta Derby.

10. Peace Arch Dragons (FVSL). Last week's rank: 8. Currently in fifth place in the FVSL, this team had a postponement and a loss to Poco. Staff report that they will have a fight on their hands to make the BC's...unless some lobbyists are successful in getting BCSA to change the rules as to league spots alotted.

11. Peace Arch United (FVSL). Last week's rank: 15. PAU move up based on the fact they are one of the few teams in the middle part of last week's rankings that did not lose. Good tie against White Rock last week.

12. Portuguese Club of Vancouver (VMSL). Last week's rank: 9. Back to back losses drops PCOV. Away to Wickham next up in the mountains.

13. Wickham FC (VMSL). Last week's rank: 12. Wickham tied Westside, but lost to West Van. They host PCOV next.

14. Richmond FC (VMSL). Last week's rank: 16. Richmond beat KLM, and then lost to Westside. They host West Van next.

15. North Delta United Alumni (FVSL). Last week's rank: 17. This side followed up a postponement with a decisive win over Abbotsford.

16. Nordic FC (NSCL). Last week's rank: 20. Two straight wins moves this team up in the rankings, and into first place in the NSCL. Away to Norvan next, although in the North Shore League, you are never really away from home.

17. Norvan FC (NSCL). Last week's rank: 13. Norvan drops after losing to Roma, and then thumping a lower division side. They host arch-rival Nordic next.

18. West Side Originals (VMSL Div 1). Last week's rank: not ranked. These guys have taken a stranglehold on first place in Div 1 Masters. Old, but talented...and good looking.

19. Roma FC (NSCL). Last week's rank: 14. Ouch. Everything was looking good after they beat Norvan two weeks ago, but an unexpected loss to an unranked side drops them to 4th place in the NSCL, and drops them 5 places in these rankings. Coveside next.

20. Romanian FC (VMSL). Last week's rank: 18. This team drops after a couple of losses, and need some points soon if they want to avoid relegation.

Sorry for the delay, and good luck to all ranked teams this weekend.

3. West Van FC (VMSL). They also had a slow start, but the reigning VMSL Champions are now in second place in VMSL Masters Premier, a point adrift of #1 Columbus, who they visit this coming Friday.
You do know you don't get to add Flying Horses points to your total to move up the standings, eh?

Sticky? stuck? you two grey hairs dating? Sorry Regs I will make that singular for you, Grey Hair. I still think the Flying horses is a bit of a copyrite infringement. They may have to go with WestVan FUFC or if they sign any more players they may want to go with the West Van EX-Ports?

Just busy scouting the Maui Coed League tonight, looking for some hidden gems... couple good players as well. Sirm may fly them i for a Try out.

Sir M. Week 6 in the Valley was a Bradner Cup game and games were postponed so teams could play in this Cup which involves all teams in all divisions except the top 8 open premier teams which compete in the Pacific Cup with the island.

Week 6 results for FVSL Masters Premier teams as follows:

PAU Dragoons MP - 3 vs BC United Div. 2 - 7 Bradner Cup
Aldergrove MP - 0 vs GEU Div. 2 - 3 Bradner Cup
PAU United MP - 6 vs PAU Div. 1 - 2 Bradner Cup
ND Alum MP - 1 vs Poco Royals Div. 2 - 0 Bradner Cup
Mighty Castilians MP - 6 vs LUFC Div. 2 - 0 Bradner Cup

The rest of the games were regular league games. This week is Bradner Cup again with NDA, PAU United, Mighty Castilians all still involved.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jack (never say that at an airport by the way)...thanks but that actually makes it more confusing because staff do not have the resources nor the requisite shots to accurately evaluate FVSL Div 1 and 2 teams...but any info on games this weekend would be greatly appreciated!

PAU MP did loss to GEU Inter Div 2, 3 - 2 , GEU good young team, PA only had 11 guy's vs 15 of them, most of GEU players were younger then PA's kids.
PA had asked to get a earlier kickoff, Saturday Night 8:00pm on Halloween weekend out in Pitt Meadows made it hard to have there best, shite a few subs would of just been nice. If we only had a few more min, I think we could of tied it up, we were all over them in the end, had a could run in the Bradner Cup last 16 out 84 teams, Good Luck POCO, last Masters team left.
