blinded by the cups 6-5. I'll ttp when there is a need but i will also give credit where credit is due. Having said that, both Inters' goalies and Lindley from Columbus also could have gotten the nod. Tough to pick from all of the talented goalies in the league. 29

Did the League just pick the players? I thought in the past they polled the prem teams for their picks...

Also, how many VMSL games did Valente play this year?

A Little birdy told me that valente wasn't even on the top five list for MF but was forced on the list by azzi to have a stronger team to play fvml.....

How about Omari ....or Tino from columbus?

Niall had a very strong year as well.

How about that midfielder that plays for Serbia (probably top 3 player in the league)?

29 should have been there, no doubt.

Absolutely disgraceful picks for the all-star team. If all of these "big name" players were currently on top of their game then you have a great team. Funny thing is many of the selections put in very average performances this season. I guess once you make a name for yourself you never have to prove yourself again.

FYI. I'm on the team and probably shouldn't be this year as others performed better than me this season. But I've been on the team for a few years now.

My 2 Sense.

I did forget to mention that there are a few players that were selected that actually earned their spot on this team, but many of their mates are missing.

Paul Dailly from West Van FC has been been voted VMSL MVP for the 2008-2009 season. Congratulations to Paul.

So the VMSL vs FVSL game is on a Thursday evening (May 28) at 730 PM out in White Rock, about an hour out of town at least for the VMSL guys.

That one should have a big fan turnout.

It rotates from year to year. If you are away this year you will undoubtedly host next year. I'm sure the game will be in heart of Vancouver for the VMSL. Like Coquitlam.

HOS is a big fan.

I am never a fan, most times I just bring the heat. If the FVSL is in need of a keeper, than I can help out.

I know the phone number's of a few good keepers in the area.

Can the FVSL pick up Millar for these games? It is a shame that they passed him over, he should be in the back for the valley.
