Div 2 [VMSL Div 2] Predictions, Results & Banter January 2010

No January? Well, game of the week in Group B has to be HNK v PCOV. With the standings as they are a draw would suit us best, but a PCOV win would also be nice. Just as long as HNK doesn't pull another one off. I give no predictions, as turkey and stuffing can throw all teams off.

That was a squeeker! Neither team created much flow, though chances did fall to both teams. TSA opened the scoring on a nice header. West Van replied with an absolute cracker in the second half minutes after TSA had rattled on off the post. TSA responded with a cracker of their own to win it.

A very patchwork lineup so can't complain about the result too much but we did blow 3 leads. Ref lost the plot and we followed suit a bit

It is probably too much to commit to one Saturday night game at 8:00 a year. Good point. Try Sunday at 7:00.....now that's a ****ing shocking time

I think he hides inside a banana peel because the bottle makes him an arse and then his insecurities come out at the game and he sinks to racial taunts... class act.

What happened to DPR and Sarajevo? Did the Douglas Dudes finally get paid back for their bad attitudes? Or was it the fault of the otherwise well behaved Sarajeviannizers?

as it happens DPR went in with the right attitude. Sarajevo were doing their usual cheap shots off the ball. Most notably the number 2 and the centre back. Don't know why they bother with that stuff as they are a good team. But they do. Such a shame that grown men have to resort to that stuff. But maybe it's a cultural thing.

The game was 1-1 when it was abandoned. Probably not the most acturate reflection as Sarajevo were creating more chances. Giving it to that rapid and tricky striker. So we would have been happy with a draw.

Then it started. Big number 2 was doing his best to elbow his marker at a corner and took a cheap shot off the ball. TYTR was caught and lost it. He went after the guy and gave him some back. The were fisticuffs and a couple of beautiful hooks. It could have been a lot worse if the usual Sarajevo crowd had wanted to partake but fortunately the cooler heads calmed it down.

It wouldn't have gone the way it did if it wasn't for the awful off the ball stuff from a couple of Sarajevo players. But sadly it did. No one wants to see that kind of thing happen.
