I was playing connect the dots with some information I saw posted on the web. I am not sure if the inquiry from a disgruntled player led to a tryout/acquistion by your team.

I think I may know who you're referring to. I spoke to one player when he was still at Kosova and seemed very disgruntled, and he is now with Bosna. I spoke with him during our first match against Bosna, and he seems happier there, although he wasn't thrilled about the 8-0 drubbing we were giving them. I can't see that scoreline being repeated this weekend. They had a guy sent off early, lost two more good players at halftime, and conceded seven in the last 45. It'll be much tighter this weekend, especially on grass, but there aren't any intriguing politics involved.

Yaletown, Rangers, Hrvat, PCOV, Bosna this division is up for grabs. Specially considering the inconsistency of every team. You never know who your playing until the whistle blows. Good luck to all teams.

The part that burns me is that had I been able to keep the team together for 1 more season, that list would have surely included Norvan...Don't get me wrong, I do love playing spoiler.

PCOV beat NK Hrvat 4-1,

It was a good game the Ref was okay. PCOV went up 1 nill in the first half and Hrvat didn't have many good chances. In the second haf the PCOV keeper took down a Hrvat Forward for a penalty shot Hrvat converted making it 1-1 however minutes later PCOV scored again and took the wind from Hrvat sails and never let up Hrvat pressed and PCOV countered with another 2 goals making it 4-1.

What Norvan team are you talking about? This is only my second season in this Province however the Norvan team I played this year seemed much more competitive then the older gentlemen from last season.

1. Shockers of the week: ...the fact that there were no real shockers.
2. Biggest Climb: C-Men(3), WVan\Squamish\UBC\PCOV(2)
3. Biggest Drop: NK Hrvat\Alemania(3), Shaheen(2)

The weather looks like it will be a factor for the rest of the year. Norvan-Hrvat couldn't even get a game in on turf Monday night. There was 2inches of water over the entire field. The turf was bubbled up in several spots. This weekend does look good for Sat or Sun.

Big Games:
2A:Rangers need a win Friday vs Norvan and NK will need to get some focus to hold off UBC
2B:While Bombastic have by no means clinched the division, the battle for now appears to be for 2 and 3 place. Important games for that bit of drama feature PGR vs Squamish as the Rangers look to make ammends for their loss in Squamish and Shaheen facing West Van in a battle of North Shore rivals.
2C: This group has a couple of important matchups with WSide Knights taking on GN Sporting and the Green Devils trying to extend their win streak to 7 games against a solid Unicorns side.

Bonefish,

bring the back fat and brandy for friday. It will be very cold. We trained last night and i am just getting feeling back in my toes now. It is supposed to get colder for the weekend. Thank God no wind is forecast. Good thing i have my ice age fat ready to go as i was the warmest guy out there last night. :D

Most Definitely...as we speak I am scarfing down domw some Apple Fritters from Safeway to bolster my svelte Two Hun.
I am hoping the Kitchen at the Landing will open for the recuperative efforts that will be necessary to reverse the hypothermia I am sure will be setting in.

As and FYI, we will be wearing our Blues.

1. Shocker of the week: There was only 1 midweek game and 1 weekend game but it was yours truly who win this weeks award with the 5-0 drubbing we took out in Ladner; Call it bad luck(Finish), Call it home field advantage(Friday night game on the polar opposite side of city), Call it this is why we are bottom half of the table( :D ) Norvan was rolled up and smoked by the end of the game, not for lack of effort.
2. Biggest Climb: Westside who pull up two spots to 7th.
3. Biggest Drop: The 'Lomas(2spots) who are hoping that the winter break will bring them the much needed bodies to stave off relegation.

BigGames this Week:
2A - PCOV Yaletown (Grass-Questionable)
2B - DP Rangers - PG Rangers (Grass-Questionable)
2C - GN Sporting - GreenDevils (Turf-Game On!)

PGR has a big game tonight vs Shaheen on the turf (grrr...) that we have to play. I've heard these guys are big, fast and their game is tailor made for turf. I have a feeling this one will come down to the last 10 minutes.

Monday 8pm vs Friday 9pm. I think the decision on which is more problematic would be best answered by persons(teams) other than you and me to avoid...the bias.
Classic line from that game came from one of you players who was bringing the corner flags out of the shed with 10mins left to kickoff and with only 6 blue Norvan Jerseys in sight..."Do I need to put these out?"
