With Westside up 1-0, @Dancin Bear gets a chance from the pk spot to add to their lead and ....

;)

Ha! I'm surprised it took you so long mate. I tend to bury them when they matter.......to us. You're welcome ;)

Hats off to Rangers. There was one team that it obviously meant more to and they won on the day. We were in full control and momentum shifted after I skied my penalty. It gave Rangers a bit of belief and they ran with it. Young lad up front never stopped running and battling and for me was the best man on the pitch. That was obviously not you @machel.....or you would have written a 3 page essay with your name mentioned 14 times.

Good luck in the playoff should there be one....always tough to depend on others for a favour. Trust me when I say this; we want you to stay up :):wa:

what is the age cut off for masters can you have any young dudes?

This is out of date, so just increase the listed years by 2 to arrive at the rules for next season

14.1 For the 2016-2017 season, players born in 1981 and older will be allowed to play in the Over 35 Divisions.

14.2 Each team in the Over 35 Divisions will be allowed to register 3 underage players. These players must be born in 1982, 1983 or 1984. These players will be allowed to participate in regular League play as well as Cup play. However, they will not be allowed to participate in the Provincial Cup competition.

Good luck in the playoff should there be one....

Romania lost to Metroford last night so they are now on 14pts for the season and tied with us. So one playoff scenario is on the cards. PCOV with one game left to play and are also on 14pts.

West Van 0 Westside 0. Both teams very short on players for the last game of the season. Both teams, I thought, got really stuck in and played like this game had more meaning in the standings than it did; neither likes to lose to one another. I think playing on damp grass and a ref that let things go had something to do with it, Ambleside was in great shape. Lots of very entertaining tackles. Good game overall, good celebration after.

So top 3 are set with Columbus in 4th who can be caught by Chile who have 3 games remaining and would need the maximum 9 points to leapfrog the Ities.

Chile plays MF this upcoming weekend and finish off vs PCOV and the Horsies.

How are BC spots allotted again?

O35 A Prov Cup - 5 spots / 2 seeds

  • O35 Premier Division Champion (seed)
  • Masters A Cup Champion (seed on April 7)
  • Masters A Cup Finalist
  • Second in O35 Premier Division (backup seed)
  • Third in O35 Premier Division
This is how it shakes out for the BCs for VMSL....

I can understand if teams don't want to come up and get pummelled. How's it going for the Horses btw? And they were the best out of the lot last year.

Like I said, I'm down for the play-off. Get another game in! If we lose and go down then so be it, no qualms about that.

And the nice thing about it is you can keep finishing near the bottom and not fear getting relegated.
