Thanks bandcamp. MF is a much improved team an could make a run. As far as Div 1 teams go, I recall a few years ago (maybe 2007 or so) a Div 1 side made a run to the cup final, I believe it was Wickham. Maybe this is a year for a Div 1 side to make that kind of run.

Of course then Wickham got pounded by RF and his SFC Rangers pals in the BCs that year.

Croatia beating Westside today 1-0 is a key development in the relegation battle. I think now that Metro Ford has to beat West Van in their final match of the year, which then, based on the past if that happens, would set up a one game playoff between MF and Croatia, the loser getting relegated.

I think Van United has said they will come up. Thinking about it there may be one or zero teams relegated because there are only nine in the Prem Division, depending if any other Div 1 sides want to come up.

I see Shaheen has thrown in the towel, forfeiting their home game last night.

Both teams short players but only WV could field a full squad.

We scored early and they tallied shortly after to tie it up. Remained that way for most of the game and after a few yellows, a few missed PK calls, and some spirited banter between players after some tough tackles, they scored on a deflection off our defenseman with only a few minutes left.

How is the tie breaker actually decided? Head to head?

Yoda, my only experience in a tiebreaker was probably ten years ago and the VMSL made us play a playoff game, I think it was against Columbus down at that school in S. Burnaby. I have no idea how they would deal with a three way tie, but normally they want a tiebreaker(s) played. I think there was a sharing of the title a few years back, SU and someone else.
