Surrey United picks up where they left off before Christmas - when did they make a coaching change, clearly this is someone else's work.

1-0 Norvan. With Pacific United also winning I think everyone outside the top 4 is still in danger of getting sucked into the 2nd relegation spot.

FC tigers is a joke. Next year this team will not be here. Rino already has a team in Div1. Some players will stay with Rino while others will move to other clubs. All that means is that there will be reshuffling of lower divisions filling up spots that are left. Probably the worst ever team that competed in Premier div.

saw a little bit of Pacifica as we were enjoying our Friday evening in surrey. Their goalie is the mvp and I am sure he credits his vmsl debut with the army that springboarded his career.

Thanks for your insightful post. I'm sure you have personally talked to the players to find out what their plans are for next season.

Dezza, Calling it as it is. No need to be too sensitive. We will see next year the way it shapes up. As far as I know you are not allowed to have same club in the same division. Thus, of course you can always sell a spot and make some money on the side.

As discussed multiple times in various threads on this site, the one team per club rule only relates to the open Premier Division.

http://vmslsoccer.com/rules-regulations/

Section 13 – Premier Division
13.1 The Premier Division shall be limited to one team per club.

If that is the rule it should be changed. One club should not be allowed to have two teams in the same division. If one team needs points for promotion or to avoid relegation these two teams (or possibly 3 Rino teams next year in Div 1) can easily agree for a final result. Just saying.

It works fine everywhere else (FVSL, VISL, etc.)

Currently in FVSL Div 1, the top 2 teams are both from the Port Moody club and in Div 2 2nd and 3rd spots are both occupied by Langley United. In VISL Div 3A, SFFC is in both first and last spot.

But hey, if people want to make a rule that we can't have 2 teams in Div 1 and thereby make our Premier team un-relegatable as long as we have another Div 1 team, go right ahead.

Yea it doesn't make sense to have a rule for premier but not for any of the other divisions? Technically you could manufacture results, if that is a possibility that rino could have 3 teams in division 1 well they "could" get favourable results in 4 matches against the other teams which is 12 points which can be the difference between promotion or relegation. Things would get a bit shady and I'm not saying Rino would do that but the fact it could happen isn't a scenario anyone wants to see and compete against.

That's likely the only way you'll be in the division again anytime soon given the performances of your Prem and Div 1 squads at present. Maybe your Div 2 squad can vault straight up through Div 1 to Prem.

Well I guess you could buy another spot... ;)
