If asked before the start of the season what I thought would be more likely - MF being top of side A 8 weeks in or Trollups in the tank I probably would have taken the trollups in the tank as a bigger surprise, what with the North Shore-Surrey Pegasus merger and all. I know Peg had just be relegated, but still...

Unfortunately this last weekend, there was one guy from the 2004 Champs out there (Reedie, and he came off after about 60). The other 6 were for various reasons unavailable for selection. A lot of CAT guys and one old boy (who played 90 after putting in 80 minutes the nite before against Columbus Masters) were on the pitch for WVFC.

It was a very painful game to watch considering for once they actually had the run of play and gave up a very late goal for the loss.
