This is brutal news, another guy shafting Canada for another country (even though they are miles ahead in football supremacy). But imagine a canadian midfield with the two De Guzmans, DeRosario and Owen Hargreaves...I would bet that we could compete with a few countries.

Two comments:
First, there have been sooooo many people over the years that were supposed to be the "next Maradona", but nobody really made the grade. Messi is the closest yet IMHO. When I first saw the two goals by Messi I thought wow, it's creepy how similar to Maradona's goals they are...
