Hard luck BRM ,great thinking outside the box last year by realising your tenure at the top of the small but very competetive FVML may have been coming to an end and moving to the larger yet easier VML to maintain your top rankings, nearly paid off,but i guess Columbus had other idea's.Just think it could have been an all valley final.Fat M onkey and Moneyman perhaps you should take a leaf out of BRM's book and move GEU to the NSL you would guarantee to qualify for the provincials every time.

Shuey was out due to a red but dont forget our captain Baily who was also missing.

I thought in the first half we should have been up by three? Barry hit the bar and it went straght down and out, Mclean all alone on a free header at the back post. Izatt all alone on another free header?

Aldergrove did not go away all day and Kudos to them on a great run.

They did knock off Westside to get there and from all acounts were the better team on the day last week.

I just hope we can give Columbus a game over there?

From all accounts we are in way over our heads here!

Anyways, it has been a blast as always and we still have one more match to play.

It was good to see R F lighting up there back line yesterday!

Calling it like I see it. Columbus has been quite formidable closing out the season. In fairness, I haven't seen you guys play this year. Maybe you will surprise me. To beat them, you are going to have to score a number of goals as they are certainly good for at least 2 or 3.

As for the Westside vs. Aldergrove game, the only thing that matters is that they beat us 1-0. Before the 89th minute, they only had one real shot on goal which Merks disposed of in typical fashion. We had numerous chances to put it away including the sitter on the 6 yard line and many others. I think anyone there (inlcuding Aldergrove) would agree they did not ("by all accounts") hold the majority of the play, that we had many scoring opportunities, and that they were lucky to pull that one off. That said, they did get to the next round and most of us are about to tee off for the third time since the season ended.

Lastly, Coach - congratulations for making it to the BC final. I wish you luck in the next game. Get your boys up for it as I know the Italians will be loading up on spaghetti the night before to give you a run for your money. My money, though, is on Columbus.

Aldergrove - Rangers , good game , 2 nd half Ranger guy should of got a red card but ref. was scared to send him off the field , too bad cause at that time Aldergrove were all over Rangers ... still the better team is playing the final ...congrats. Rangers.

Coach,RF,Fox and the crew congrats on making the final.Can anybody beat Izatt in the air-no,will anybody keep up with Barry?Shuey is a hand full,wilky will be spraying the ball around,I can guarantee Baily and Big Mac the best centre backs in the league will keep a clean sheet.Its a no brainer,Coach put the champagne on ice.I'll see you guys in Winnipeg for thanksgiving when you look to win back the Westerns. Just an opinion maybe a little biased.

Aldergrove - 3rd place FVSL, FVSL Cup Champions, BC semi-finalist.
SU - VMSL League Champs, BC semi-finalist.

Columbus will be a tough test as witnessed watching them beat SU yesterday.
Their second goal was a sweet finish by Caccia. (I think)
Jonesy looked sharp in the pipes as well.

Should be a great time on the Island.

Good wins yesterday for Columbus and Rangers.

RF, actually SU has not yet won the league, they have a one game playoff against Metro-Ford for the title.

I am pretty sure it was Sarge that scored the 2nd for Columbus...
