Last season some one posted an entire FVSL power rankings, with variables for the different divisions. The formula is prob in one of the old threads, if your really bored

I believe KJ and I collaborated on that one, taking into account the position as such
Premier 1-10
Div 1: 11-whatever and so on, as the equalization stick for strength of schedule.

The problem was everyone was scoring, and when they didn't we didn't and when we got the stop, the ref said our keeper went early , and then they scored...and we didn't

I used the same formula as everyone else 30-rank+(winsx2)+(goals for / 2)+(goal differential)+(points)

You should be eliminated for saying that in soccer you take peno's from the 6 yard box.

Guildford was more lucky than anything I think...Im not sure how they beat you guys but we played the entire game with 10 men (we have a real committed team ) and lost in pk's

Lucky... maybe a little at the end when there keeper shot it right at ours but the game between westcoast was a hard fought game on both ends. Either team could have walked away with the win.

What 10 men game ending in pks are your talking about?

Hopefully closer to the end of the season, then they can seed teams for byes and such. Last year the byes were random and a D2 team that was demoted somehow got a bye. Should be most points in D2 plays least in D3, so on and so forth.

I don't think this is the way to go, not fair for the teams with the least points... everyone needs a fair shot right, Random drawing is only way to do it IMO.

Why not? Sucks for any top D2 teams to have to play each other first round of cup. Gives teams a reason to keep trying, knowing they can get an easier road to the final.

there's a reason they call it cup....the regular season means nothing..no matter how many points you have whether your the pomo gunners or poco express(3a)...random draw is the only fair way to do it like it or not. if anything should not be random it should be the byes....division leaders get byes? maybe ? even if not that, it's still a pretty decent set up.

Oh shite? What happens (since we suck) get drawn against Peace Arch in the Pak cup? It could happen seeding or not, but I bet PA would rather have us than Langley or PoCo first round. If you're last place, chances are you've been hammered all season, what's one more game?
