Campbell River entertained the Captain nicely the past few days. A quick summary of the weekend:

Thursday: 12:45 - Ferry leaves
12:46 - The first beverage was consumed

Two hours later a quick stop at the Great Canadian Casino in Nanaimo.
2 hours and 5 minutes later, we walked out with a $110 profit, which covered our drinks for our room......

We arrive at the hotel around 5:30(a few pee breaks were essential) and were at the Cold Beer and Wine Store at 5:35. Dinner at Moxies with the team, followed by an excursion to the VOODOO LOUNGE where it was Buckabeer Night . Glasses of beer for a dollar. $30 was given to the waitress and we were covered for the next couple of hours.......Unfortunately, it must have been Heavyweight night, as most women were tipping the scales at around 200 lbs..... Pulled the "running man" off to the tune of Jump Around.......Got back and drank until the beverages were finished.

9:00 game
10:45 - first cider of the day
12:00 - game
2:20 - first double paralyzer of the day(3 to follow)
4:00 - trip to cold beer and wine store, and watched Canucks destroy Detroit
7:30 - Go to Fogg and Sudds
7:38 - ordered a fish bowl of paralyzer
9:30 - went to Royal Coachman for some off-track betting with 10 players
11:36 - everyone left with a little bit of a profit(only $20 for me)
12:04 - back to Seargant O'Flaherty's
12:05 - the first double Caesar of the day/night
12:06 - attempted to play darts with little to no success
2:00 - asked to leave the pub politely and I obliged


Overall, a great weekend. I certainly am easy to entertain.......

Without a doubt, the best example of what sport means resides in a little tourney called March Madness... college hoops are top dawg here. TTP would also like to point out the game has it's origins here in Canada.
