1) Nobody has refused promotion, if we win our game.
2) I was only pointing out the obvious, that regardless whether we win or lose on a given day, many of the TTP'ers on here feel the need to call us out. If we are silent, they hatin'...if we speak our minds, they hatin'
3) Bluebird, even in the fragile old age, they still talk about #7 and the 'Gers. Ask anyone on ND Div 1- they hatin'.
4) Dude, you guys totally deserve a 9th place

No shite Sherlock. Hey, if anything, it should serve as a great motivator for our younger crop. What they should be saying is, "WTF? And we couldn't break the top 5?"

I showed up late and had to wear a large!

Does this mean your "young" players are going to keep the team together? Are there enough guys? Or a possible merge with the other team?

Z, all I can tell you is that apathy clearly set in early for us. IMO, it happened the day we lost to your lot. That game effectively eliminated us from contention. IMO, we had the tallent, and a good mix, but the chemistry didn't work. Sad to say, a lot of the apathy was from our older group, so...time to move on.
Steppy- it'll work out. Nothing in stone yet.

I also think a tie was a fair result which is all we needed to clinch 3rd. We were not up for this game as it didn't mean much and Mission seemed to care quite a bit about it. I will say that Mission are a good young team and I think will finish top five again next year. I actually think that they are better than Port Moody but lack experience. They need to get a little bit tougher and a little bit more direct and they could win this league in two or three years. But I would say they should be happy with their season coming out of div. 2. Much much better than Surrey Strikers. Good luck to them next season. Maybe we'll see you maybe we won't.

I think you should judge yourselves based on the entire season and where you finished in the standings. Mission has faired a lot better than you and are much more impressive. You did beat them this year but you got lucky. I believe they finished a lot higher and they also beat you in the cup final last year when it counted.

No doubt, I was kind of being sarcastic. Obviously we're very dissapointed with our season. We had a absolutely horrible start, and basically didn't start playing well until we were in serious trouble of being relegated. We had a good run from then on (minus the no-show in PoMo) and with some good pick ups we'll be primed to make a good run next year.
