Abandoned Match

An abandoned match is replayed unless the competition rules provide otherwise.

So what is written in the FVSL constitution? Find out and you have your answer.

If a game does not reach 90 minutes, it's a FVSL executive decission. However, there have been many precedence's on this in the past, and in almost every case, once the opening whistle for the second half goes, it's considered a game. A variant would be envoking an abandoned game by the team leading at the time, in which case the exec. may decide to replay. judging by the score, and the amount of time left, I'd say the exec should call it a game.... but I'm sure Walls would disagree, due to the fact that The Bank had them right where they wanted them, and were ready to pot 4 goals in the closing minutes.

And I highly doubt anyone for the executive told walls that they were on there way to winning(reffing or not) I find that unrealistic.

Like I said in a previous post, I asked him why the non call on the hand ball in the box late in the game, and he said he couldn't call it because he let one go at the other end earlier, so it evened out anyway... gotta roll your eyes on that... I told him you don't 'not' call something just because you didn't call a previous foul, call both..... I think that's when he nodded off for a moment...

The goal went by my planted right leg, not between them. It 'foot'cuffed me just as I planted... Probably the only place he could have shot to score... the bastard. I had one goal against in a pre season game... exactly the same shot from the same spot... so a redo wouldn't help... I'll work on that in training

One loss isn't going to change how I feel about that, DFC Celtic will win Div 2C, I have said it again. No pissing there, just my opinion. There is a wager out there that you are still able to take me up on, you can have the rest of the league and I will take DFC Celtic to win Div 2C.

Game on... First I will say that Arsenal did hand it to us last week, it is what it is...a loss. Shaven, I agree the league will most likely award the points based on the 70 minutes played.

As for this week... Hades is not even close to the same squad we have played in the past, but neither are we. We at NDNBU hate to lose, especially at home so I expect a much better effort at the water park. With both starting strikers back and a healthy compliment of our much improved bench, Goals will come...

And by the way, summer is over, it's like preseason for us. But if you must look at our record to judge how we can play by all means do so. It will be nice to catch some teams taking us lightly this year.
