OK, good nights sleep and a cup of coffee in me. Time for a match report.
First half was pretty even in posssesion, we had a few chances to get up a goal or 2 but couldn't ripple the ole onion bag, and we cleared one off the line. Second half we pressed pretty hard and i think carried more of the play, started open things up. Crossbar once, missed the net a dozen times. But then finally potted a couple to seal it up.

Good clean game all around. Couple hard tackles but all in all a good one.

Cheers to the Delta lads for sharing pints and pulled pork.

Yoda pretty much nailed it. First half saw a couple of scoring chances at both ends and some goal mouth scrambles with an edge in posession to Poco but nil-nil at the break. 2nd half was definitely all Poco. They brought on some fresh legs that really opened the game up and once it was stretched we were 2nd best. They scored 2 but it could have been more. Squad's a bit thin right now with injuries but most masters teams have to deal with that so no excuses. Hopefully we can give them a better run next time. Cheers to Chef Army for the post game snacks.

Langley 2 South Delta 1. Good match both teams worked hard. Game could have gone either way.

Kudos to our oponents. Langley seemed interested, SD obviously not. The game had SD leading 1-0 at half. Langley came out in the 2nd with a no nonsense / nothing overly pretty type of attitude and netted the necessary results. The loss for SD puts a major damper on a turkey filled weekend.

On to a tough match vs Temple next week.

it would have been fine if he was signed in masters as he can play in any open division cause masters players can permit to play for any division... now he's not eligible for div 3,4

Doubtful he's gonna play div 3 or 4, but yes it's a bit dodgy. They do the same maneuver with a certain keeper in thier club.
