Rumour has it that Langley can't field a team for this weekends game against Poco and are willing to forfeit and take the $500 fine. Can anyone confirm?

I can confirm that Friday night is extremely problematic for the club player availability, and that the e-mails have been flying since Sunday about how to allocate bodies, basically anyone of 35 years of age or higher. No idea what has transpired at the management level in terms of communication w/ Poco.

I was personally hoping some sort of river tsunami would hit Poco by Friday. Not only would it be problem solved, but would do wonders for the place in cleaning it up, and briging up the rest of our real estate values.

One can only hope.

We were all over Poco for the first 30................. seconds and then they took over and won by a converted touchdown. Not alot of fun playing up front by yourself but we thought we would play a defensive game and try and contain them and keep it under 8 and our game plan worked as we kept them to 7.

Scoop Dawg, glad you guys put together a team and made the trip. The first 30 had us in shambles. We were all over the place and struggled to say the least. Then we found our stride and got a bit of luck to put a couple in the net.

Good clean game. No dust ups and nothing dirty. Easy work for the ref tonight, but the linesmen had their troubles.

If this game had ended in a tie, we still would have won on corner kicks at roughly 100 -1

Went and caught the Poco vs Langley Premier game after Yoda. You would beat them (poco premier) hands down!

I thought we had you in the ropes when you were up 6-0 th 7th goal sealed it ! Good clean game and I agree the lino made some bad calls on offsides for you not that I'm upset going 1 on 1 with Slater and Blakeway is not fun :0

Happy to help Yoda we out in Langley are always happy to aid in teams development and certainly on set piece practice ie. Corners or PK's. Well played by the Poco guys and agreed no chirping and stupid sh$#. Good luck in the Provincials!!! And Scoop come on there were chances to create your own magic...... Ever forwards dream 1 on 4's all night. Well played Rob J thanks for coming out to help and to our Langley boys for keeping it as positive as can be and not getting down on each other. Better than a forfeit any day.
