Re: [FVSL Premier] Results & Banter - March 2006

Isn't this M. House All Star debate completely bloody moot?

BTW I don't think anyone, including Joe, knows where he's going to play. If he even does.

Does anyone know how the league determines the standings at the end of the year if 2 teams are tied?

But it is a moot point because its a premier thing so RF, once again, Dude has dropped the ball.;)

uhh, yeah...about as moot as your point.
Although Muzz is likely our MVP, the dark horse for allstar striker in all of the valley is master Daryl "KIWI" Holmes... a big if though...when he's fit  He's the complete package and can play circles around most if not all of the guys I played against in the valley premier.
With him and muzz going up front I think we have a better 1-2 punch than any premier team (any different ideas? I thought the chilli strikers were a handful),...but then again...it is the valley. Of course fitness is a big factor but a fit holmesy is a special player.

...awaiting two free ones from kiwi and muzz

still feeling mooty at home sick,
Aves

Ok fine, it's not moot. But then you're saying Muzz, a now 0-35's player, is the FVSL's best and brightest striker? Excellent. The future looks bright. Good luck against the Caps.

I sure hope if this is the case you're bringing down Pistol Pete and Kelly Bay.

moot, moot, moot....most definitely moot all right?

I didn't say he was the best and brightest...read the transcripts...although I did say holmes is top shelf.
But you raise a good point..who is the best...the class of the valley? Who's picking this team anyway? How out of place will they look against the caps? I am a little curious.

and its Kelly Bey fella...you can spellcheck off the trophies in the clubhouse.;)

ya moot
:D

Masterfully yours,
Aves

Aves is right.
When did anyone say that?

I feel like I'm on on TTP back in the early days.
You know, back when you and Guinness bored the tits off us...

If was only a matter of time.

What about Murray Howes? He's in the FVSL, not Premier, but he is deffinetly one of the better strikers around.

Take Murray any day on my team

'How would Murray fare in FVSL Premier?'
No fcuking problem.

Blah... blah... sound of dinner roll hitting the ground... blah...

Having a vet or two in the mix helps the mix as well.
I thought I was fabricating this whole Muzz for President in my mind until I went back and painfully read the last 54 posts. 40 of which mention him as one of the best in the FVSL.

This all started by Dude asking who most guys thought would be an All star this year for a game vs The Caps. The first striker out of anyone's mouth is Muzz. I'm knew I wasn't fcuking crazy. There is no way I would have thought you would fancy a player in the 0-35's (no matter how good he is) in a, lets face it, a showcase of a that leagues talent. Unless of course he was still playing there. Thus this whole vote for Muzz campaign is fcuking moot.

Cnuts. The lot of you for making me back Guinness.

Re: [FVSL Premier] Results & Banter - March 2006

Who's Muzz?
Why isn't anyone under the age of 30 posting?
really...
Tons of skill in the Valley,.. but it was always better back then... right?
Razel with 23 plus goals
Wade with 17 plus. raw speed.
Slane with a successfull "winning" season. at least 10.

And honestly, how many premier games have the likes of Dude, Aves, RangerForever and KNVB seen this year.
All with a family and there own clubs to commit too.
I would say maybe a dozen between them all.
Hell, I think I have seen Aves out once all year.

Start your own thread boys.

LION

that's because I've been lurking behind the bushes, on special assignment for CTU.

Don't sweat it Lion...Muzz is the Keyser Soze of the valley...no one really knows who he is but lookout.

Finally some names put out there. Hope to see you at the park one of these days Lion...
and I'm just about done hijackingyour thread because I'm almost well enough to go back to work.
