Apparently, terms have been met and he'll sign the documents when he comes back from holiday. There was rumour that Real Madrid were tabling a bid for him as his missus apparently doesn't like the weather in Manchester

Sit down talks are about to happen with Wayne Rooney and his advisors about a contract extension when he's back in camp as well.

Agreed ....... a strong yellow would've sufficed.

On another note, watching the Premiership highlights last night ..... is it me or was there some huge goalkeeping blunders in the first week ??

On a more positive note , Paul Scholes' performance yesterday was pure class against Newcastle. Incredible as a 35 year old that can dictate the pace of a game at that level. Something Michael Carrick will never be able to do ..... Scholesy's vision, passing and ahem, tackling should've named him man of the match honors.

United just need Rooney to get match fit and start banging them in again.
