Unbelievable?

Just found out that we were awarded the three points for our game against Aldergrove in which ended a tie!!
Apparentely one of their players was suspended and still played.
Maybe this league is finally moving in the right direction??

Golden Ears 2 - 0 Peace Arch

Good win for GEU.

The first twenty minutes of the game were controlled by GEU, and that is when we scored our two goals. After that the game was very hard on the eyes. We did limit PAU's chances, and cleared one off the line in the final minute, but other then that, we pretty much had most of the possesion. Big win for us, and if things go our way, we could finish second in the league.

GEU mixing it up

After that win TR, I agree, it's very tight between 2nd through to 5th I believe.
Looks like 2 to 3 points separates all of you.
Last games of the year should make it interesting in CAT.

Geu Black Knights 3 vs LUFC B 0

Well, all I can say is that we did not play anywhere near as well as we did for last weeks cup game and it showed big time. Black knights are going to be a good young team, but they are young and going to have to learn how to take a few knocks if they want to do well in div 1 next year. A little maturing and alot less whining and that should serve them well.

LUFC A 3 vs DELTA METRO LIONS 1

Very fast pace to this game, alot of back and forth play with no scoring in the 1st. Only 10 minutes into the 2nd Delta takes a corner to the far post and they head it into the net to take an early 1-0 lead. Alot of even play to this game but Langley was starting to pressure and their mid passes a sloww roller to their keeper who tries one time the ball up-feild but misses it, game now 1-1. Langley pop in 2 more goals in under 4 minutes to make the game 3-1. Langley had all the pressure the rest of the game eventually also missing a PK. Demo also putting on to much pressure on himself to keep his consecutive game scoring streak alive, but it was not to be.

Here's your report...

Make sure the ref carefully watches all the shots if you go to PKs.

Don't let their runners get inside the 18. If you let them shoot from the outside all game, you should be OK. Do that, and win the 50 / 50 balls. Sounds easy, but they have very good fitness.

TR, here is another report

The Delta Lions game will be a fast paced game. tThese guys seem to like to run right from the first whistle, but they will fade. Half way through the 2nd half in our game it seemed like their fitness was staring to ware them down. Their defence is something you will be able to capitalize on if you neutralize their sweeper (gave me fits all game), red haired guy named Brent. Othere than him the other d men are pretty slow, and their offside trap is pretty easy to beat, if you have a decent ref. Their midfield I really could not get a good read on, but it seemed they were playing a 4-3-3. We play a 3-5-2 so we basically took their midfeilders out of the play most of the game, and relied on their Defence o get it to their forwards most of the time.
