The Bumbles looked brilliant today.....and a 5 - 0 pumping of the Egyptian Champions.....not much of a team to be honest but there was some quality football on display because of this probably. McGeady is really enjoying playing for Mowbray...gets to go central a lot more as the midfielders actually interchange, something Strachan didn't think was that important.
On to Tottenham on Sunday but I have a feeling it will be a 'weakened' team as I believe Mowbray has his squad set for Dinamo Moscow.......

Celtic with a BRILLIANT 2 - 0 win in Moscow........well done to Tony Mowbray......tacticallly MILES ahead of Ginger Baws. Through Scott Brown in UP FRONT towards the end to help try and shut the Russians down from playing out of the back........
Cappy did you watch it? They actually didn't look too bad, created loads of chances, and defended well! Things are looking up!

They'll need all the help they can get in a few weeks time. Fancied Celtic against 90% of the other sides for the Champions League qualifying round but for fcuk sakes, Arsenal ?? Should be a great tie with Celtic hosting the first one on August 18/19th.

Walks, totally agree.....I thought they could have given it a go against the other 4 teams....but Arsenal is at a different level unfortunately. Oh well, at least we've qualified for the group stages of the Europa League with the win in Moscow.
So I am watching SPL for the first time in a long time today (Dundee Utd vs Hearts), and #14 for Hearts catches it pretty bad right in the groin. He goes down, and the physio comes out to work on him, he is in real pain, and the physio is icing him right between the legs. At this point, the Scottish colour announcer states:
"Well this is when you need a female physio, isnt it?"
1-0 Dundee Utd at the half.
