I decided to be playmaker today. You even went to the extreme of getting in my way when I had my ONLY chance of the day. Thanks. Otherwise, I only set up 3 today and I am sorry for that. How many goals did you set up you greedy bastard? I thought so. The Captain had to limp off today thanks to a bollocks hip flexor. I am out of the next two games so I am also out of the golden boot race. BTW, Parkhead, your goals were magic today. Your header which you put out for a throw-in was fan-fcuking-tastic. :) Also, a plethora of nice lay-offs again. BTW, congrats on your hat-trick and for not scoring the 7th, 8th, or 9th goal......

Thank you Sharing Captain,

I scored 3 of the first 4 so I scored the important ones. Only set up one to CCF, and if he could finish at all ( this is getting redundant) I would have had a few assists. Such a gracious man backing out of the golden boot now that your are not in contention. Well playmaker you keep setting me up and maybe I will give you the Right golden boot for your mantle. You can feel like you contributed and have something to show for it. This will only happen of course if you pass me the ball because I can not score without your help.;)

What to say about the match with the Royals. Well other than the fact the fact that Guilts, Kagan and myself were all seeing three soccer balls on the field at all times. This would explain my pleuthra of misses. I swear I was aiming for the middle goal.;) Poc's came out fast and should have been ahead by 3 or 4 but we only managed to put one past the keeper by yours truly. Then in the second half the Royals took full advantage of our stellar fitness and pregame warmup. They should have scored 3 or 4 as well but could only manage 1. All in all a tie was quite fair. So because CCF aka (squeaky) could not handle his booze and show up for the game he finds himself falling further behind in the race for the golden boot.

The new standings are,

1. Parkhead -8
2. Squeaky -5
3. Captain -4
3. Paulie -4
5. Guinness -3
6. Wim -2
6. Bischoff -2
6. Donny -2
9. Malcolm -1
9. Spearsy -1
9. Dom -1
9. Smallsy -1

Chippy Today

Todays match in the prestigious Surrey Summer league ended in another victory for the mighty Poc's 4-1 over the powerhouse Whalley United.;) Game was rather boring until a few Whalley Superstars decided if they couldn't pass the ball to each other they would pass to us then clatter us. Few little squirmishes at the end but they all involved the little man syndrome. Thanks for coming out putzs.

Anyways Kevin with 2, Squeks with 1 and Bischoff with one and one brilliant chop of a poor bastard that learned to shut his mouth rather quickly. To make things interesting in the golden boot race I decided to shoot for the heavens insted of the net today. Only seems fair.:D

Standings now

1. Parkhead -8
2. Squeaky -6
3. Captain -4
3. Paulie -4
5. Guinness -3
5. Bischoff -3
6. Wim -2
6. Donny -2
6. Kevin -2
10. Malcolm-1
10. Smally-1
10. Spearsy -1
10. Dom- 1

Pocomo finished off the regular season yesterday with a 5-2 victory over Donnegal's. With NO SUBS (thanks Kagan and Squeky) in the blistering hot sun we found away to win. It was 2-2 with about 15 mins to go when our keeper decided to change the momentum of the game by attempting to pummel one of their forwards. He was red carded and Wim stepped up to take his place. With the rest of us now awake and Smallsy and Gielts finally getting over their hangover's we put them away with three quick goals. So Squeks I believe you will have to dawn the pipes in the year end tourney. As I believe Stu will get any where from 1 -3 game suspension. Goals were scored by Paulie with 2, UNBELIEVABLY Smallsy with one to double his season total.;) and myself with 2. So the updated standing for the golden boot race is....

1. Parkhead -10
2. Paulie -6
2. Squeaky -6
4. Captain -4
5. Guinness -3
5. Bischoff -3
6. Smallsy -2
6. Wim -2
6. Donny -2
6. Kevin -2
10. Malcolm-1
10. Spearsy -1
10. Dom- 1:

On a side note Cerebral did have one spectacular give away for one of their goals. But made up for it I guess with 3 megs one of which led to his goal. I believe the guy is still trying to untwist himself from the human pretzel he was turned into!

i leaped all the way up to 6th place!!! going to need to pot a few at the tourney to pull off a podium finish. i think the meg golden boot is a lock though.:D
unfortunately my playing time at the tourney might be in question given my attendance at some "idiot's" wedding.

Golden Boot

Due to my un-excusable absenses (the doctor wouldn't give me a note) my 3 goals in 2 games is all I gots... Yes quite shite granted the defence we face, but at least I haven't shat the bed weekly like that plummer Parkhead!!!
See youse in K-Town...;)

Ps. Smallsy et. all, a standing megfest to be in order for Kamloops... Anyone want in??? Losers must buy the winner a pint in Sunday's beer garden (Monday doesn't count considering Pocomo will not be playing that day):D

For **** sake we better not be playing on Monday. I will do my best to make sure there will be no need for a wake up call on Monday morning. That is our team goal which lends itself for a pleuthra of time to be spent in the beer garden without the need to worry about the football. That football always seems to get in the way up in Kamloops.

I am out of the meg tourney as I do not plan on playing that much, actually as little as possible.

It figures!!! I knew I couldn't count on a golden boot winner for putting his boots where his gub is!!!;)

Smallsy, I guess it's just you that gets to buy me a pint??? (but no giving the ball back after you put it through some muppets legs):D

Wrong again unless you are going to get that pint in Arizona!! That's where the cerebral one will be.

But look at it this way Guiness atleast now you just have to buy yourself one and not one of us. :D

Guiness, i'm afraid Parkhead is right. I'm outta town in the Zona for a golf trip. Thus no meg battles or free pints. I'm sure Mackers would be game though....

I'm just getting home from watching the Pokes stuff the Royals on PK's. EEEEEZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYY. I must get a bit of sleep now. Good luck in the 11 game, guys. I think Malcolm's boots are here. I'm not dropping them off so CI Champ can get them IF he is in fact playing.

The Squamish Nation treated the Captain VERY well. A casino and a beer garden in the same area. Money.
