Nope, either team can rot in hell for all I care.

The Uefa Cup is the only European Competition left of any interest for me. ;)

Who will foul err fall down more Drogba or Ronaldo?

My vote Drogba by 2.

There's going to be a lot of fancy hair on the pitch for this one.

Why was that (1) not a PK? (2) not a corner at the end? (3) more time wasn't added on?

A follow-up question: Why was Torres taken off?

Not with Liverpool having Benitez in charge

Obviously, I am far from a Liverpool supporter but this cnut comes up with some stunning shite at times ..... quotes this week :

On the referee :

'In the last six games in Europe he has refereed, five times the local team have won and once they haven't. That was Valencia against Chelsea - it's very curious. If he knows he must be strong, that is okay.'

On Drogba :

'I have said things about Drogba, about how easy it is for him to fall down. Everybody can see it every game, it is very clear'.

On the first leg :

'The referee in the first leg was not good in virtually every decision but hopefully it will be different now.

'I was really disappointed about everything after the first leg but when I watched the match again on video I was very pleased with the performance of my team. Clearly Chelsea were lucky. Petr Cech saved them on several occasions. We had great opportunities, they were lucky'.

Well done mate ....... you've just pissed off the referee and fired up Drogba even before the match started  Tactics at it's finest

Is Sir Alex much better by saying he doesn't care who they play? He should care now, no?

Sir Alex comes up with stupid comments all the time but usually it's after games :D

However, I rarely think he criticizes a referee before a match or does anything to incense another team or Star Player in the pre-match buildup.

Mind you, we've got three weeks and that could change :D

Didn't he incense a Star Player by chucking a boot at his head once? What was his name?

:D

A question: on Will Hill for example, when they post odds at for example Man Utd 230/100, Draw 280/100, and Chelsea 300/100, what does draw mean? After 90 minutes or PKs?

What's the official (Pacific) kick-off time for the final?
A few weeks back I saw somewhere saying 5am (4pm Moscow), but now soccernet has it as 11:45am (10:45pm Moscow), which doesn't seem right.
Can someone confirm, please?

Manchester United will play Chelsea in the final on Wednesday, 21 May 2008, kick-off is 20:45 CET (22:45 in Moscow, Russia).

2008 UEFA Champions' League final
Wednesday, 21 May 2008, 20:45 CET
Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, Russia
Manchester United v Chelsea

Weird that this is such a late kick off.. but I guess CET is central euro time ... making it start at the same time as any other european cup match?!?!

Sorry for the delay, Boys......I"m not used to looking at Champions League threads past the round of 16..............:D

It is 90 minute betting, Sir M..........You can bet the game outright before it starts with the odds being less but you get the penalty shootout or extra-time.

If I HAD to pick a team to win, I would have to go with Manchester United........as Chelsea have too many 'ties' with another team.....:D

The only day that matters for football this week is Thursday ........:D
